Chapter 1613

    Chapter 1613

It was eleven at night. The sky had turned pitch dark, but the Lieberman residence was lively and

    merry.

The parking lot in front of the residence was full of all sorts of luxurious cars.

Today was not only the day Wilfred came out of prison but also his son''s wedding.

Many of his long-time friends and wealthy business owners turned up as well.

These notables came tonight because they believed that Wilfred would work his way to the top

    again.

Right now, the Lieberman residence was packed with guests, disciples, and subordinates.

All of them swarmed around Wilfred, giving him a wonderful, false sense of being superior again.

ncing around the venue, he realized that the most influential big shots like Clifford Davier and

    Boris Tucker weren''t around.

Even Will Long and the other high-ranking general didn''t attend the wedding too.

Those who came were mostly ordinary department heads, business owners, his disciples, and

    former subordinates.

Though the ce was crowded, none of the big shots were here, and that displeased Wilfred.

With an annoyed face, he asked Greyson, “Did Mr. Davier and Mr. Tuckere to my son''s

    wedding?”

Greyson seemed a little awkward as he mumbled, “Mr. Davier and Mr. Tucker have something on,

so they can''t make it, but they sent some gifts over.”

Clifford and Boris were now the renowned Great Cab Members.

On top of that, not everyone was keen to get involved in a posthumous wedding.

Clifford and Boris didn''t need to please Wilfred, let alone attend such a strange asion. It was

very courteous of them to s over.

Yet, Wilfred wasn''t happy about it. “Hah! When I was a cab member, they treated me with such

respect. But the two of them are all puffed up now.” The man snorted.

The expressions of Greyson and those subordinates beside him change drastically. Hurriedly, they

whispered in Wilfred''s ears, “Sir, please mind your words. Mr. Davier and Mr.

Tucker are no longer like the men they used to be.”

Wilfred nodded in acknowledgment. “Leopard went to Channing to kidnap Queenie. Is he not back

    yet?”

“I believe he''s on the way back. We have another hour to go, so he should be able to make it on

    time,” Greyson replied.

Wilfred replied with much satisfaction, “That''s great!”

After a few seconds, he asked again, “Is Nathan here?”

Greyson and the others shook their head in response.

On the other hand, Cassius and Azielughed out loud all of a sudden. They were highly skilled

assassins under Wilfred, known as the two Reapers.

“Haha... Nathan must be too scared toe -)

    over.

“He ims to be the God of War, but he doesn''t even have the courage to turn up for the wedding. If

he''s around, I''ll break his head.”

Hearing the two Reapers'' words, Wilfred couldn''t help but burst outughing

Right then, a loud and firm voice sounded unexpectedly.

“Who said that I dare not toe?”

Wilfred and his men were startled, turning to nce in the direction of the voice simultaneously.

A well-built man with dazzling eyes strolled toward them.

He was none other than Nathan Cross, the General of the North.

Trailing behind him were Kylie, Colin, and the Elite Eight

Both Kylie and Colin had a gift box in their hands.

Everyone present eximed at the sight of Nathan, “Oh my God! Nathan is here! This is going to be

    interesting.”

Never had Wilfred thought that the man who killed his son actually had the courage to show up

    here.

His lips quirked slightly. “Nathan, you''re here. I really admire your courage.”

Looking around the ce, which had been decorated like a funeral and a wedding hall at the same

time, Nathan raised a brow. ”lt''s miraculous that you''re out on parole, so you should''ve behaved

yourself, but you''re still doing monkey business. Aren''t you afraid to get back into the prison

    tomorrow when you''ve juste out?”
