Chapter 1189 I Will Let You Seed In Your Career
Joanna was dumbfounded as well. She gazed at Pirk and Max, who were kneeling outside the
neighborhood. There was arge group of followers from the Artoria Family and the Lance Family
surrounding them too.
She could not help but ask, "What''s going on?"
Simrly shocked, Ingram said, "Yeah! What''s going on with Max and Pirk? They brought so many
men to Channing. Destroying Nathan should''ve been a piece of cake! Why are they kneeling at
Nathan''s neighborhood instead of seeking revenge on him?"
Joanna was perplexed as well.
By killing Dexter and the others, she and Ingram had nned to use the Artoria and the Lance
family to kill Nathan for them.
She had not expected Max and Pirk to be so useless!
After a moment, she said slowly, "Looks like I''ll have to act personally. It''s too unreliable to depend
on someone else to kill Nathan."
When Ingram heard her, he assured her instantly, "Don''t worry, your highness. I''ll definitely help you
kill Nathan and avenge your father and brothers."
The corners of Joann''s lips lifted into a smile. "Don''t worry, Mr. Ziegler. You won''t help me if you get
nothing in return. I''ll let you seed in your career and love!"
A look of anticipation instantly appeared on Ingram''s face.
Although he was born to one of the wealthiest families in the nation, his status in the family was not
very high. In fact, he was often surrounded by siblings who were much more capable than him. If he
did not improve himself, it would be difficult for him to seed in life.
However, this woman in front of him was the Princess of Eaglnd!
Not only was she beautiful and had a slender figure, but she also possessed limitless wealth and an
extremely high social status. If he could marry her, he would probably reach the peak of his career.

Joanna''s car left as fast as it had arrived.
On the other hand, Max and Pirk continued kneeling outside the neighborhood with their heads
drooping.
Luckily, their eight thousand followers had sealed the streets surrounding the neighborhood.
Residents who lived nearby would not be able to pass by them. Even the residents who lived there
did not dare to stay for long.
Hence, Max and Pirk were not surrounded by arge crowd of passers-by. This made them feel less
humiliated.
Both of them knelt from noon to the middle of the night.
The elderly men''s legs were already numb from prolonged kneeling. If they had to kneel till
tomorrow morning, their legs would definitely be rendered useless due to theck of blood
cirction.
However, despite that, they ignored their followers'' dissuasion. Gritting their teeth, they continued
kneeling at the entrance.
If the General did not say he would forgive them, they would not dare to get up.
Around midnight, a muscr figure walked over with two men.
It was none other than Colin.
"Stand there! Who are you?" shouted Max and Pirk''s followers.
Colin replied coldly, "I''m Colin Dunne, the Captain of National Guards. I have a message for you."
Everyone was stunned.
Only then did the followers realize Nathan was the General. No wonder their masters were so
scared and kept kneeling!
When Pirk and Max heard that the Captain of National Guards had arrived, they became much
more energetic, as if they had just revived from the brink of death.
They lifted their heads and looked at Colin excitedly.
In a quivering voice, Max asked, "Captain Donne, does the General have any instructions for us?"
Colin replied coldly, "The General will not be too petty with two old men. You can go back now.
However, you must restrain your juniors and prohibit them from acting inappropriately from now on."
Feeling as if they had been pardoned from a death sentence, Max and Pirk nodded vigorously.
"Thank you, General! Thank you, General!”
Their followers helped them stand up.
As they had been kneeling for too long, their legs had already be numb. With trembling legs,
they could not stand steadily and had to rely on their followers'' help.
Colin suddenly stated, "The General wants to rify something with you!"
Max said quickly, "Please tell us, Captain Dunne."
In an icy tone, Colin said, "As Sam Artoria was rude, arrogant and discourteous towards the
General, he had personally beat Sam Artoria to death. However, Alfie Lance and Dexter Artoria''s
deaths have nothing to do with the General!"
