Kylie, who was by their side, couldn''t hold back herughter anymore.
In the meantime, Tim blushed angrily and started yelling, "Damn it! How dare you tease me? Deric,
Dawson, teach this brat a lesson!"
As soon as Deric and Dawson received Tim''s instruction, they rushed over to Nathan''s side with a
vicious smile on their faces. They intended to beat Nathan up.
However, Nathan got ahead of them and managed to kick them before they could get to him.
Eventually, they were sent flying away and fell to the ground.
Seeing this, Tim''s jaw dropped open as he was shocked.
Nathan asked him in a very cold tone, "Are you going to leave now?"

Suddenly, Penny got anxious and suggested, "He''s from the Brown Family, one of the top-notch
families in Horton. I think we should leave as soon as possible because we have no idea what he''s
capable of."

However, Nathan reassured Penny, "Is that so? Don''t worry. No matter how influential they are, they
aren''t the most capable ones in Horton."
Since Nathan had no intention to flee and insisted on dining at this particr hotel, Penny and Kylie
had to keep himpany. In the end, they made their way into the hotel.
They reserved a private dining suite to themselves and ordered all sorts of local delicacies.
Before the dishes were served, someone knocked on the door of their suite.
Once the waiter answered the door,
Nathan saw a bunch of men in their military uniform outside of the suite.
They were a bunch of middle-aged men who were in their mid-fifties or sixties.
However, each of them had an intimidating presence. Obviously, they were the mainstay of the military.
Initially, Penny thought they were there to pick on Nathan and to avenge Tim. Therefore, her face
turned pale the moment she saw them.
Nathan, who was by her side, frowned and asked, "What are you guys doing here?”
The bunch of middle-aged men from the military greeted Nathan politely, "Mr. Cross, I''m Liam, the Vice
Commander-in-Chief of Eastern Military Reserves. We got the news that you are in Westerndale so we
are here to send our regards."
"I''m Kevin., themander-in-chief of Eastern Navy Reserves. I have dropped by to send my regards
as well, Mr. Cross."
"I''m Jayden, themander-in-chief of Eastern Trident Special Forces. I''m here to send my regards
too, Mr. Cross.”

Obviously, they were the ones in charge of the whole of Eastern Military Reserves.
Penny was shocked because she couldn''t figure out the reason behind their visit. In fact, it seemed like
they were here to greet Nathan.
However, Kylie was rtively calm since she was aware of Nathan''s actual identity. She was certain
that those from the military had showed up because they were trying to tter Nathan.
Although Nathan had been trying his best to lie low all along, he couldn''t possibly turn Liam and his
colleagues away since they were the mainstay of the East''s military.
Hence, he returned the favor with a smile and suggested, "Since everyone is here, why don''t you guys
join me for a drink?”
Immediately, they replied with a bright smile on their faces, "Mr. Cross, we have brought something
special for you as well! Allow us to present it to you!"
At this point, Penny whispered and asked Nathan, "Who are these people?"
Penny nodded as she fell for Nathan''s words once again.
Nathan was having a great time drinking with Liam and those from the military of the East inside the
private dining suite.
Suddenly, a fleet of vehicles parked in front of the hotel.
It was none other than Tim and his men. The intimidating bunch got out of their cars immediately.
