Chapter 325 Send Them On Their Way To Death

Chapter 325 Send Them On Their Way To Death

When Yoel saw that it was Thomas, he scoffed, "I was wondering who it was. Turns out it''s you. Last

time, you were lucky enough to escape with your life. You dare appear before me again? I''ll make sure

I finish the job this time!"

With that, he got ready to kill Thomas on the spot.

Before he could, Carl shouted, "Yoel, stop! We don''t kill the messenger. Since Cross has sent Dunn

here, if news got out that I had him killed, it would ruin my reputation."

Shooting a disdainful look at Thomas, he asked, "So why did Cross send you here?"

"Master knows that you''re here, so he purposely sent me over, with a gift for you," Thomas answered.

Carl narrowed his eyes. "A gift?"

Lifting the rolled-up artwork in his hands, Thomas dered, "This painting!"

Yoel approached him to take the painting, scrutinizing it carefully to check for any

    danger.

Confirming that there was none, he handed it over to Carl.

Done with his mission, Thomas turned to leave.

The Eighteen Hounds moved to stop him, but Carl stopped them. "Let him go. Dunn, tell Cross that

even with this gift, I won''t show him any mercy. He should be settling his affairs in preparation for his

death. If he''s willing to hand over Cross Group unconditionally, I can promise him that I''ll let his family

    live, even after he dies."

Thomas remained silent and continued on his way.

Carl waited until Thomas was out of his sight before he focused his attention on the scroll in his hands.

Handing it over to two men, he uttered smugly, "Open it up. I can''t wait to see what kind of painting

Cross hopes to butter me up with."

Sean and the others guffawed, "Trying to appease you at thest minute, what a coward! Too bad for

    him that it''s toote!"

The two underlings slowly unrolled the artwork.

When everyone got a good look at the contents of the painting, they were all dumbfounded.

It was a painting of Dante''s Inferno.

More specifically, it depicted the Seventh Circle of Hell.

This was the circle reserved for those of violent minds.

The scene was horrifying to the extreme, with boiling rings of blood, filled with anguished souls. They

were immersed, ording to the degree of their sins.

Patrolling the rings were centaurs who would shoot arrows into any sinners who emerged higher, out of

the boiling blood than each was allowed.

The emotions on everybody''s faces varied, but they ranged from horror, to fear, to calm indifference.

Carl''s intention of killing Nathan fit right in with the sin of violence.

This was clearly a warning from thetter that the former would be heading for the Seventh Circle of

    Hell soon enough.

Breathing raggedly from his rage, Carl roared, "Such impudence! Nathan Cross, I''m going to tear the

flesh from your bones, one strip at a time!

Then, his sinister gaze fixed on the small group of people who had put their support behind Nathan.

Under normal circumstances, there was absolutely no way that he would so publicly go against Carl.

However, he was now aware of who Nathan Cross really was.

If there was one thing that he was not, it would be a fool. That was why, no matter what, he would have

to endure Carl''s wrath and stand by Nathan''s side.

One sentence had their faces draining of all color.
