Nathan went out alone after dinner.
As he drove the Polo out of the garage, he spotted a figure hiding behind one of the trees in the yard.
He stopped the car, rolled down the window, and huffed, "Kylie, I saw you. Don''t hide."
Kylie came out from behind the tree and rolled her eyes as she said in an infuriated manner, "Who said
I was hiding? Don''t be such a prick."
Nathan just let out a smallugh.
He knew that Kylie suspected him and wanted to follow him to see if she could find out more about him.

While Kylie was a little shocked but she still got into the passenger''s seat after a slight moment of
hesitation.
She asked doubtfully, "What is it? If you want me to help you to contact Professor Jenson to obtain the
rights to manufacture the vine for liver cancer, I can''t help you with that."
Nathan replied as he drove out of thepound, "Don''t worry, I will handle the vine. I need your
help with something else. In fact, any female can help me with this."
He realized that his words were rather flirtatious and could easily cause others to misunderstand him.
Sure enough, Kylie immediately looked alert and she asked, "What are you asking me to help you
with?"
"It''s Penny''s birthday in a few days so I want to get her a ne as a birthday present. Just help me
pick one,” Nathan said.
Kylie immediately agreed when she heard this.
She even pretended to be enthusiastic, "Oh, so a ne as a birthday present! Well, that''s simple. I
have a friend who runs a jewelry store in Channing. You can get a discount if you go to his shop. Would
you like to pay him a visit?"
Nathan guessed that Kylie wanted to prank him as he spotted the sly look on her face.
Nheless, he remained unfazed and asked for the name of the shop.
"Perpetual Love, it''s on Channing Avenue 3," Kylie said.
Nathan nodded and drove in the direction of the shop. Obviously, he intended to visit the shop which
she rmended.
On the other hand, Kylie looked at him in shock. There was another reason why she rmended him
the shop, apart from the fact that she knew the son of the owner of Perpetual Love.
It was because all of the jewelry there was extremely expensive and not everyone could afford it.
Kylie always thought that Nathan was a bum and did not have much money in his name.
Hence, she encouraged him to visit the shop so that she could make fun of him. It would surely be
awkward if he could not afford it in the end.
However, she did not expect Nathan to agree with her suggestion. Did he not know the price of the
jewelry at Perpetual Love?
They arrived at the shop very soon.
The shop was decorated with all sorts of gold, silver, and other jewelry, just like a pce.
Seeing that they drove a rather old Polo, nobody weed them at the door when they arrived. After
some time, a salesperson called Leah Holden approached them unwillingly and asked what they were
interested in.
Kylie announced, "We would like to look at the nes."

Leah thought that they were a poor couple upon seeing their old Polo car.
She did not even want to attend to them and hoped that they would just spend some time looking
around and leave. Thus, she did not expect Kylie to ask if whether there were any better ones!
Instantly, her face clouded over as she brought the duo to the shop''s most valuable item. Pointing to a
pink diamond ne, she told them sarcastically, "Look at this, it''s one hundred million. Can you
afford it?"
