Introduction: An alien from the future and a different dimension tries to escape his dictator father with his young son through a portal device and ends up in the wrong place and the wrong time.  He can't return to the place he wants to be so makes the best of where he is.  He keeps his true identity secret and creates a foundation that deals with paranormal events and strange happenings.  Over the years his father discovers where he is and travels there to try and get him back.  But he has other ideas....
