    Right as he was contemting his next course of action, a familiar figure in the distance caught his


    attention.

    “Why are you avoiding me, Lars?” Gabrie shouted out loud while running towards him. Larry was


    very surprised to hear her voice as he thought she was overseas.


    “No reason,” he replied coldly as he recalled what she had done to him and Joan in the past.

    “Drop the act, Gabrie! What are you up to this time, huh? Who are you trying to hurt? Me? Or Joan,

    “What are you talking about, Lars? Since when have I ever tried to hurt you? Also, who is Joan? How


    could I possibly hurt her if I don’t even know who she is?” she asked in a trembling voice.

    The young woman stared at them both and let out a helpless sigh.


    “She got into a car ident overseas and lost a part of her memories as a result. It’s possible that she


    may never recover those memories.”
