Philipa Le put her phone down and sighed. Corey Byrd wasn’t responding. She had called, texted, emailed, but he wasn’t checking his phone!


    Any other circumstance, she would pat him on the back, because the last thing this world needs is robots taking over the world; but she needed a response from him. It was a job offer, and things like these didn’t stand for very long.


    Philipa’s phone on the table rang. She picked it up on the second ring.


    “Agent Le.” She said.

    “Uh, then how am I supposed to say yes?” Mr. Byrd seemed to be confused.


    “Well, we’re just hoping that you’ll make the right decision.” Philipa said. “We’ve been looking at you for a while now, and you always make the right decision. So, what do you say?”
