Chapter 1467
Under the starlight, the table was covered with dishes, and all five of the family were happily enjoying
the dinner.
Of course, even though they were out cruising, there was still no seafood involved.
In fact, only Anne and the kids could not eat seafood, but Anthony could still take it. However, he did
not touch a single bit of seafood whenever they were eating together.
It was as though he could not eat seafood as well.
“When did you learn to swim?” Anthony sounded as though he was making small talk.
That poked right at Anne’s deepest secret.
She replied, “Last year.”
Anthony knew well enough how much Anne feared water back then.
Why did she have to learn how to swim? Under what kind of circumstance?
Anne had no choice but to learn it when she was on the deserted ind. She had no
excuse, even if she was very phobic.
The more she feared it, the more she was drilled in that area. Even if she died halfway, it was part of
the selection process, and no one would have cared.
With that as aparison, whatever Anthony did to her no longer felt as excruciating as it seemed.
“Mama can protect us now that she learned how to swim!” Chloe said.
Anne rubbed her head and said, “Yes. Enjoy the dinner.”
The kids went to bed early that night. They had too much fun during the day.
Anne naturally retreated back into her room early to avoid getting into too much contact with Anthony.
The sea was not clearly visible from the windows, and she could only see the waters around the cruise
where the lights shone. Therefore, there was nothing much to see at
night.
Anne pressed the remote control, and the curtain slowly rolled down.
Anne went to the bathroom.
Halfway through her shower, she felt that the cruise shook lightly.
Anne was stunned for a brief moment. It was probably the winds. Any slight change in waves in the sea
could easily be felt by the cruise boat.
Anne walked out of the bathroom after her shower. She paused when seeing the man in the room, and
the stiffness in her body was vividly felt.
Anthony’s gaze was fixated on her as soon as she came out.
Anne’s face was pink aftering out of the shower. Her bathrobe was loosely wrapped around her
tiny waist, and Anthony’s dark eyes were hard toprehend.
They looked dangerous, like a beast ready to attack.
Anne was rmed. She could feel the danger in the air. Her heartbeat was messed up, but she
pretended to be calm. “What are you doing here?”
“There are some winds, and the boat is shaky. I hope you are not freaked out.” Anthony had to
suppress the urges in his boiling blood.
His thirst for Anne felt like he had been drugged all the time.
“I am fine. What about the kids?”
“I checked. They are sleeping soundly like babies.”
Anne’s face loosened up a little, hearing Anthony’s remarks.
It was fine whenever they talked about the kids. Otherwise…
She could feel Anthony’s body edging toward her. Anne stood in the same position, unnerved.
What was he doing here?
“Are you finding yourself getting used to sleeping in here?” Anthony stood before her, his tall figure
towering over her.
“I was used to it, and I will get used to it now too.”
“We used to sleep together.”
Anne tried to recall if they had slept together thest time they went cruising together.
Just when she was zoning out, Anthony already pulled her into his arms and said with a hoarse voice
when he noticed she tried to resist, “Don’t move, I will not do anything, just take it as our usual hug
before sleeping, because I am not used to it.’
Anne’s body was frozen. She listened to Anthony’s deep voice, her heart a mess.
She thought, ‘It’s your own business if you are not used to it.’

Just when she was about to push him away, she felt some water droplets dropping from above,nding
on her skin and wetting her smooth skin.
