    Ashlynn lowered her gaze to stare at the tip of her shoes. “…Yes,”


    Beth remained quiet.


    “Auntie, thank you for everything, but I’ve made up my mind,” Ashlynn said, not knowing if Beth would


    be upset as it sounded almost like she was trying to take Meredith’s man.


    “I support whatever choice you make, but you need to think this through. I don’t want you to be


    abused,” Beth said.


    “Yes…”


    “Whatever happens, you are still wee to drop by for dinner. Do you understand?”


    Ashlynn could not find her words, not knowing if she was truly worthy of such treatment despite being


    trapped in her worst nightmare at the same time.


    “Sure,” she whispered.


    “This is my number. Call me whenever you want,” Beth said, “if you want toe back, I can go over


    there to pick you up.”


    “…Okay.”


    Beth remained quiet for a few moments, before uttering, “I…” There was so much that she wished to


    say, but her words would note out.


    Ashlynn noticed Corentin standing in a distance, and hastily hung up, before putting her phone away


    and walking over to him. “I’ve spoken to Beth. She won’te to get me. Can you delete the video


    now, Corentin? It’s sick…to keep something like that!”


    “That depends on you,” he said darkly.


    “I will stay and obey you. Just delete them!”


    He sneered evilly, “I’m still curious…why would Beth care so much about you all of a


    sudden?”


    “Maybe…maybe she doesn’t want me to interfere with your rtionship with Meredith.”


    “Don’t overthink it. I didn’t call off the engagement with Meredith because of you. I will get Beth back


    sooner orter for getting my son killed,” Corentin gritted out


    fiercely.


    Ashlynn did not care about any of the things he said and could only think of the videos and photos


    Corentin had. She grabbed onto his arm pleadingly. “Salvatore, delete them. If those leak, I would kill


    myself…”


    He pulled his arm away and caressed her cheek. “I can’t possibly get rid of my leverage against you.”


    She gave him a pained look. “You should be locked in a mental hospital!”


    “What a good idea. Let’s go together tomorrow.”


    Ashlynn ignored him.


    That night, she went into the shower first and reached for Corentin’s phone when it


    was his turn to shower.


    There was a password to his phone and she tried to search her memories.


    When she was working at the Lloyd Group, she had seen Corentin typing the password and managed


    to unlock the phone in one attempt.


    She was shocked when she saw all the videos and photos on his phone. There was nothing but


    unspeakable sight of her and she trembled at the number of files there


    were.


    She selected all of them and deleted everything, before sighing a breath of relief.


    “Are you done?” A devilish voice echoed in the room.


    Startled, she backed away and fell onto the bed.
