    The red blood streak looked like it had imprinted the artery on her skin.


    “Two dayster, I will send you to the Hilton family.”


    Ashlynn looked at him with wide eyes, but she could not see him clearly because of the tears that


    blurred her vision. “Corentin, how could you…”


    “You are Beth’s goddaughter now, and you must foster a good rtionship with her. Stay at her ce


    for a few days, and I will then fetch you back, okay?” Corentin’s voice was gentle, as though he was


    trying tofort his precious little baby that had just thrown a tantrum.


    Ashlynn clenched her jaw. She hated him. “Corentin, go to hell!”


    “Don’t worry, even if I die, I will bring you to hell with me!” Corentin said, and then kissed her lips and bit


    them.


    “Uhm!” Ashlynn felt the pain up to her scalp and struggled.


    However, Corentin was like a beast that lost its mind, biting onto its prey’s throat in a deadly manner,


    forcing it to calm down and face its own death.


    Ashlynn stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself.


    She was dressed up elegantly and daintily.


    However, her mouth was swollen, and her neck was full of streaks of blood, looking twisted like a ghost


    that climbed her way back from hell.


    She reacted and frantically sshed water onto her face, neck, and hands to wash them again and


    again. However, no matter how she washed them, the smell of blood


    lingered.


    “Ah!” Ashlynn could not care about the injury on her neck and screamed.


    She looked up and then pulled away the pinhole camera from behind the mirror.


    This was not enough. She then went to search for other cameras within the room and pulled away all


    the cables that she could see.


    She only pulled away three when she felt exhausted. She fell onto the carpet with her eyes full of


    agony.


    She pulled away the cameras. So what if Corentin knew? Now… what else did she


    have to lose?


    Her pathetic life…


    The surveince cameras were damaged, but Corentin did not show up.


    However, two dayster, Corentin’s staff drove here and said, “Mr. Lloyd said to send you to the Hilton


    family.”

    She would have been able to dodge it normally, but she was too shocked to react.

    The water flowed all over her, and she was soaked wet and dripping some unknown liquid.


    She looked pathetic.


    Aunt Cher came by and said, “Oh dear, who are you? Why are you standing here? I am pouring this


    away! But don’t you worry, this was just the water that I used for mopping. It does not stink.”


    Ashlynn looked at the woman in front of her, a middle–aged, average figure with a face full of menace.
