Chapter 1120
She was running toward Lucas, then she was hugged by him.
Due to the angle of the camera, it looked as if she had rushed into Lucas‘ arms.
Anne did not expect that that was the reason Anthony appeared at the hospital.
She thought it was the driver who had tipped Anthony off.
“Is this what you mean by you don’t like him?” Anthony was terrifyingly cold. “Are you forgetting that
you`re Mrs. Marwood now?”
Anne’s throat got a little tight. “This is a misunderstanding.”
“Do you think I’m blind? Hmm?” Anthony was grabbing the back of her neck, and as long as he put a
little force, that slender neck of hers would be snapped by him!
Anne also got pissed off being pinned by him. “I already told you it’s a misunderstanding. I can’t help it
either if you still think of it this way!”
There was nothing going on between her and Lucas, but the same might not necessarily be true for
Anthony and Bianca!
Why must she bepletely controlled by him? He was too domineering!
“What did you say?” Anthony was infuriated by her words. His gaze became so scary as if he was
about to tear her into pieces.
Anne pushed his hand away, took her seat once again, and looked outside the car
window with a cold expression.
The temperature in the car dropped to an extreme level. Anthony’s ck eyes were staring straight at
her and his wrath was surging.
It was not as if Anne was not afraid.
Due to nervousness, she gripped her pants with one hand so hard that her knuckles turned white.
However, she was right, was she not?
Was there a problem for her to immediately go and check out the situation when something happened
to Lucas?
As a friend, should she not do that?
Was Anthony herwfully wedded husband? No, he was her predator!
He was a habitually obsessive devil!
Anne thought that Anthony would lose control and do something to her in the car.

However, he did not move at all and exuded an icy air all over him throughout the ride to the entrance

Anne did not say anything either. She just got out of the car and walked toward herpany.
When she looked back, the Rolls Loyce was already gone.
Anne returned to her office and took her seat. She even threw her phone on the desk.
Then, she grabbed her phone and saw the provoking text that Bianca had sent.
She felt it was an eyesore and it made her feel heartbroken.
Therefore, she deleted it.
She and Anthony were not suitable for each other in the end!
After all, both of them were not equals from the very beginning. They loathed each other.
Could they really bear no grudge in the end when they started with hatred?
Up until that point, she still had no idea why Anthony got a marriage certificate with her.
No matter how much she thought about it, she felt it was for the sake of the three children.
Also, her willingness to stay by Anthony’s side was most probably for the sake of the children as well.
After all…even though she had fallen in love with Anthony, she would not want something that did not
belong to her.
She would never obtain it by force…
Anthony did not call her the whole day, and her phone waspletely silent as if it was broken, which
made her unable to calm down instead.
After she got off work, she took a cab home herself.
When she returned to the Royal Mansion, the Rolls Loyce was not at the entrance.
She was secretly anticipating that the Rolls Loyce had been driven into the garage and Anthony was
already home.
After she entered the mansion, she did not see the children, as well as Anthony, so she could not help
but ask Hayden, “Did Anthony note back?”
“Mr. Marwood called and said he’s noting home for dinner. Don’t you know?” Hayden found it
strange.
Of course, Anne did not know.
It looked like Anthony was truly upset.
However, that was the first time she saw another side of Anthony when he was upset.
