    She had been the witness to Anthony’s relentless effort of protecting Bianca, and knew that if she


    moved against Bianca, Anthony would do anything to stop her.


    “What now, then?” Ashlynn asked.


    “I’ll have to find a way forward after I get my eyesight back.”


    Ashlynn held her hand as they walked and realized that she had been wrong to think that Anne was in


    a better position than hers. Ashlynn did not have any children and could always leave whenever there


    was an opportunity. Whereas Anne had three children with Anthony, which meant that she had three


    reasons stopping her from leaving whenever she wanted.


    The two strolled forward and were about to make a turn when they heard Bianca’s voice.


    “Anthony, you told me that you areing here with Anne, and I couldn’t help bute here as well.


    You won’t be mad at me, right?”


    Ashlynn froze and thought, ‘Isn’t that Bianca’s voice? Why is she here with Anthony?‘


    She turned to look at Anne worriedly.


    Anne remained expressionless as she captured every word Bianca said,


    remembering the words she heard from Bianca in Anthony’s office back when she


    had lost her memories.


    ‘It’s not enough for her to do that trick once, and now she wants to do it again?‘ Anne thought and was


    about to walk over when she heard Anthony’s voice.


    “I won’t.”


    Anne instantly froze.


    She could tell Anthony’s footsteps, not to mention his voice.


    ‘It really is him…‘ She thought.


    “Good, then. I just didn’t want Anne to get mad. Anthony, I won’te between you two. We can just


    meet in private and keep this a secret from her,” Bianca continued.


    “Alright.”


    Anne tightened her grip around her cane until her knuckles paled to suppress the bitterness that


    overwhelmed her, it almost felt as though there was an invisible hand gripping on her heart.


    “Mama!” The triplets shouted in unison and hurried over, attaching themselves to her legs.


    “Mama, why are you here? It took us some time to find you,” Chloe said.


    Anne snapped out of the sorrow and forced a smile. “Are you having fun?”


    “Yes!” They chirped.


    “Good.”


    Ashlynn noticed the nk expression on Anne’s pale face despite the fact that she was talking to the


    children. She had overheard Bianca’s conversation with Anthony as well and could not believe what


    she had just heard.


    Anthony had stuck by Anne’s side ever since theynded, and it was hard to believe that he would turn


    around to say such a thing to another woman.


    ‘I suppose it’s not that weird!’ She thought, ‘Anthony Marwood is the king of Luton and what’s on his


    mind is never shown on his face.‘


    Bianca darted away after hearing the triplets‘ voices and ran from the other side to avoid being seen


    with her phone in hand.


    She had been alone all along, she had merely recorded and edited Anthony’s voice when she went to

    “It’s this big!” Chloe widened her eyes while opening her arms. “But Great–Uncle has alligators, so


    that’s cool!”
