Chapter 1089
Anne was d that she could not see Bianca’s face, or she would have vomited with disgust at that
very instant.
‘Who’s one big family with you?‘ She thought to herself angrily. ‘You are the one who killed Dad! You
are my nemesis, not family! How dare you show that face here?‘
She quietly pulled her arm away from Anthony’s hold.
Anthony scowled and tensed, his expression darkening.
After taking their seats, the triplets looked around curiously.
“Bianca happened to be working here and wanted to visit me. I’m happy that she remembers me.
Though your parents had done some wrong in their lives, let’s not let the past affect the next
generation.”
Anne had no proof of Bianca’s crime, or she would have never allowed Bianca to unt herself in this
manner.
Cory would not show mercy on Bianca if he found out that she was the one who killed his eldest son
and Anne had not expected Bianca to be bold enough to show herself here.
‘Why?‘ She thought. ‘Probably for the sake of the man standing next to me!‘
“Anne, we are in the same position now. We’ve both lost our parents, but you are still better than me as
you have three kids. Right now, I just want to take care of Grandpa. I want nothing else,” Bianca said
humbly.
Anne could not be bothered to listen to a word she said. Resentment filled her chest as she thought to
herself, ‘I would have nevere if I knew that Bianca was here. This isn’t a family gathering. It’s just a
waste of time.‘
Silence fell over the house and Anne’s expression darkened.
The sound of a car approaching interrupted the tension that was building in the air.
Cory turned to the butler. “Go see who’s here.”
The butler went outside and returned. “Sir, it’s Ms. Meredith. What a great day this is!”
As expected of a high–borndy like Meredith, she was almost perfect in every sense when it came to
her looks as she waltzed in elegantly.
“Uncle Cory, Corentin, are you all here?” Meredith purposefully ignored Ashlynn and turned to Anthony
and Anne, before ncing at the triplets, who were studying the
antique vast nearby. “Uncle Cory, you have guests over today. It’s so lively!”
“Come sit down, Meredith,” Cory said, “let me introduce you. This is my granddaughter, Anne Vallois,
and that’s her husband, Anthony Marwood. Those three over there are their kids. She is Nigel’s
daughter.”
Meredith had never seen Nigel in person before, but was aware of a certain background of the family.
However, she was shocked when she saw Anthony. There was only one Anthony Marwood in Luton
and the man before her could not possibly be a man who happened to have the same name.
Anthony was merely sitting there, but his aura was so powerful and intimidating that ordinary people
would have the courage to approach.
“Hello. I’m Meredith Hilton. It’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance,” she
introduced herself gracefully.
Anthony did not react, but Anne greeted her. “Hello.”

Even without the introduction, Anne knew about Meredith. She had heard rumors about her on the
inte and Anne had learnt that she was a member of the elite society, but had not expected to see
Meredith here.
“This is my granddaughter as well. Her name is Bianca,” Cory continued.
“I know her. The piano goddess. I’ve heard your performance before. It’s beautiful,” Meredith said.
“Thank you,” Bianca said.
Meredith turned to Corentin. “Corentin, you didn’t even tell me that the piano goddess is your niece. I
don’t care! You need to get her signature for meter!”
Bianca smiled. “Seems like you are really close with my uncle.”
“Of course. We’ve always been close,” Meredith said as she looked at Corentin. The longing in her
eyes was so undeniable that everyone at the scene apart from Anne, who could not see, could tell.
