    “I’ve sent the photos to you, but you didn’t reply, so I decided to call you.”


    Anthony did not hang up and opened his screen to open Ivan’s message that contained a few photos,


    captured out of surveince footage.


    Lilian walked into the Authentic Clinic for a facial treatment and went to Bianca’s room on her way out.


    However, merely the fact that Lilian had made contact with Bianca with no other supporting evidence


    would be dismissed as visiting a friend by Lilian even if Anthony was to interrogate her.


    “Keep an eye on her. Do not let a single movement escape your attention!”


    “Yes!”


    “Also, this woman is trained in this. Don’t let her notice that she is being followed.”


    “Yes, sir!”

    He returned to the bedroom and sat down by the bed to stare at Anne, who was asleep. “Once we find


    out what happened, you won’t be in so much pain.”

    Dorothy fussed over her and urged, “You can’t just give up! Anthony must have said that because he


    was confused. He’s always been protective over you. You know that. He’s probably regretting his


    actions by now and he might be waiting for you to find him!”


    “How could he do this to me? He called off the engagement. If other people find out about this, they are


    all going tough at me! How can I ever go out there again?” Bianca sat in front of the dressing table


    and stared at her reflection in the mirror. “What’s the point of looking beautiful? Everyone isughing at


    me in secret! Especially Anne! She must be really happy with herself right now!”


    “He might have called off the engagement, but that’s between the two of you and no one else knows


    about it. You still stand a chance! If you give up right now, who’s going to benefit the most?”


    “Anne…”


    “That’s right! Remember, Anne is mentally sick right now. It’s not going to end well for her if her


    condition worsens,” Dorothy reminded her.


    Remembering the maid she had ordered to drug Anne, Bianca immediately grabbed Dorothy’s hands.


    “Ask her to increase the dose! I want Anne dead now!”


    “I don’t need you to tell me that. I’ve already informed Mia. She will do it.”


    Bianca widened her eyes hysterically. “That’s right. Once she dies, Anthony will take me back.”


    Dorothy studied her expression worriedly. Her daughter had been raised like a princess and she could


    not allow someone like Anne to destroy Bianca.

    Anne sat on the bed at night while Anthony fed her dinner, but she refused to continue eating after a


    while.


    “Just a bit more. You are eating for two now.” Anthony moved the fork closer.


    “I said I don’t want any!” Anne shoved his hand away and the piece of meat on the fork fell onto the


    bed.


    Anthony paused and her heart sank as she wondered if he would yell at her, would he hit her or even


    kill her?


    “Alright, then.” Anthony told the servants to take the tes away and after noticing the frightened look


    on Anne’s face, he consoled, “It’s fine. You can eat again when you are hungry.”


    She stared at him and asked, “did you kill my parents?”


    He frowned. “Think with your head. Would I really kill them?”


    Anne could notprehend the situation that she was in. The more she thought about it, the more


    confused she became and she did not understand what went wrong.


    She lifted the nket to get out of bed, but instantly copsed on the ground.


    Anthony caught her in time. “Don’t move around…”


    “Go away…ugh!” Anne shoved him away and fell back onto the ground.


    “Damn it!” He lifted her off the ground. “Did you hurt yourself?”
