Chapter 814
“Corentin does everything with a purpose. Even if Mr. Faye woke up, it wouldn’t have affected his
status as the heir.”
“Who the hell would it be? I just don’t get it.” Anne was distressed. “With Dad’s death, there’ll be a
slimmer chance of me knowing anything that had happened between him and the Lloyd family. Or did
Dad’s death have something to do with the Lloyd family? So, was it Cory? But he’s Cory’s son….is it
possible?”
“That depends,” Anthony said, “it’s not umon for father and son to turn against each other.”
“You think it’s suspicious too?” Anne asked.
“Corentin has a surgical scar on his chest, and it’s probably to fool others,” Anthony said.
Anne was shocked by Anthony’s profound insights. “Was it to ensure Salvatore resembled Corentin
more?
“Corentin himself had heart disease.”
“I didn’t find out about that.”
Just as Anne said that, she saw Anthony ncing at her, and she could not helpining inside,
“Yes, I’m not as powerful as you. Okay?”
“Only the Lloyd family members know that Corentin had heart disease. Outsiders are unaware of that.
I’m guessing they brought Salvatore back to the Lloyd family because Corentin was dying.”
Anne also asked her doubt, “What type of heart disease? Could he not do a heart transnt? That’s
not difficult for the Lloyd family, right?”
“That’s the problem. It’s not easy to check on this,” Anthony said.
Anne gave him a sideways nce. She really wanted to say she could not believe there was actually
something a powerful man like him could not find out.
Anthony noticed Anne’s gaze. His heart tingled, and his gaze deepened. “How long has it been since
you went to the Royal Mansion to see the children?”
“What? Don’t they often go to my mom’s?” Anne was confused.
Was it important whether she went to the Royal Mansion? After all, she was with her children anyway.
“It’s not the same.”
“What’s not the same?” Anne did not notice it,
“Stay at the Royal Mansion tonight,” Anthony said in a domineering tone.
“No way. I want to apany my mom,” Anne replied.
Since Nigel died, Sarah had stayed at home all day, not going anywhere. It was as if she had lost
interest in everything. Sarah would definitely find it hard if Anne was not by her side and she had to be
alone at night.
“Mr. Faye was not her husband, so there’s no need for her to show such deep emotions,” Anthony said
indifferently.
Anne was angry. “What are you saying? Why do you always have to target my mom?”
Anthony pursed his thin lips. “It’s the truth!”
Anne was furious. “That’s right. You’ve always been this way. Why would you care about my mom’s life
or death? You think she deserves everything she suffered!”
When she noticed where they were heading, Anne became angrier. Then, she got up and shouted, “Let
me get out of the car!”
Anthony’s expression was gloomy. He immediately pulled her onto him and grabbed her face so that
she faced him. “Your temper is getting worse. Hmm?”
“My temper is still…mmf!” Before Anne could finish speaking, she waspletely covered by the
shadow. She did not even close her mouth yet, and her pitiful mouth was alreadypletely taken
over! Anthony kissed her until shey weakly in his embrace before letting her go. Then, he stared
intensely at her blushing face, rubbing the corner of her mouth with his rough fingertips as he asked,
“Satisfied?”
Anne’s mind was nk. She shut her eyes, slowly regaining her consciousness. “Y-You’re such a
b*stard!”
“I can be worse. Do you want that?”
Anne definitely did not want that, and she stared at him warningly.
The Rolls Loyce stopped at the entrance of the Royal Mansion.
In the end, Anne was still brought here.
Even if she were unhappy, she had no choice but to ept this arrangement.

Everything was for the sake of the children.
Indeed. It was different for the children being at the mansion or here. They were probably happier with
both their Papa and Mama together!
Just as she epted the fact that she was at the Royal Mansion, she looked up and saw the graceful
Bianca walking out, and her expression sank. Then, she said to Anthony next to her, “It seems that I
came at the wrong time.”
Anthony’s expression turned glum.
Bianca approached them with a smile as if nothing had happened. “Anthony, you’re back? Anne, you’re
here too? Don’t just stand there. Come in!”
Anne’s gaze was indifferent. Bianca was talking as if she were the host, inviting the guest toe in.
“It’s fine. You two can go ahead. I’m leaving.” Anne turned around. She did not want to spend another
second here.
“Mama!”
“Mama!”
“Mama!”
