Ashlynn saw the face under the umbre, walking toward her. She was so frightened that she backed
away and bumped her back against the tree behind her.

that you can’t stand under a tree when it’s raining?”

any lightning. I was just taking shelter temporarily.”
“Get in the car. I’ll see you off.”
