The officer left and Anne remained frozen in ce.

Anthony''s helicopter did not turn back, so she went back to Luton on it again.
The helicopter stopped on the top floor of the Archduke Group and she went into the elevator to get to Anthony''s office.
She almost bumped into Oliver along the way and though Oliver knew that Anne was traveling on Anthony''s helicopter, he immediately went
to stop her when he noticed that she was heading for Anthony''s office. "Hang on, Ms. Vallois..."

Without stopping to knock, Anne had barged inside and Oliver’s heart sank as the door flew open.
Anthony and Bianca were sitting inside and the two were clearly in the middle of a conversation, which
was interrupted by the person who came in.
Anthony scowled and stared at Anne sharply.
Bianca''s expression darkened, but she immediately contained her temper and asked, "Anne? What are
you doing here?"
Anne froze, not expecting Bianca to be here. She noticed that Bianca''s eyes were red as though
someone had wronged her.
Oliver went into the office and said, "I''m sorry, Mr. Marwood. I couldn''t stop her."
"You want something?" Anthony asked.
Oliver stepped outside and closed the door behind him.
Anne tried to regain herposure and decided to pretend that she didn''t know what had happened.
"The police in Santa N have found the man who bribed the driver into running my mom over. I heard
that that man is from Luton and was working for someone. The police mentioned that someone
powerful in Luton is responsible, and since you are basically the most powerful person here, can you
help me look into this? I''ll really appreciate it!" 1
Bianca nced at Anthony. "There''s no need to look into it. I know who did it."
"You do?" Anne asked.
"It''s my mom. She did it in the heat of the moment. That’s what I''ve been talking to your brother-inw
about. My mom acted recklessly, but it''s understandable. Do you know what your mom did? She keeps
asking my dad to go over to her ce and I don''t think I need to exin what they have been up to, do
I?" Bianca exined and acted like she was the victim.
"What?" Anne did not know about that. "Even so, you can''t hire someone to kill my mom! Dorothy hasmitted a crime and she needs to
be punished!"
Bianca did not bother with Anne''s opinion and turned to look at Anthony. ’ Anthony, my mom didn''t do this on purpose, so I used my
connection here to resolve this. She''s my mom, after all. If my mom goes into prison, it''s not going to be a good thing for any children we
might have in the future."
Anne looked at Anthony nervously, wondering if he would go as far as siding with Bianca when they had clearlymitted a crime.
Anthony turned to look at Anne calmly and said, "This ends here. All medical fees will be borne by the Faye family."
Anne gaped at him in disbelief. "My mom is still unconscious in the hospital and I don''t even know when she''s going to wake up. The culprit
is right in front of me and you are telling me that I can''t do anything?"
"It''s not nothing. We will pay for her medical fees. Even if we take this court, do you not need money for your mom''s expenses in the
hospital? Cases like this are often resolved in private."
