    While searching for the phone after unzipping the bag, Anne paused when she came across a box


    inside.


    She was familiar with the box because she used to consume it frequently, urgently, and for an extended


    period of time.


    However, why did her mother have this in her bag?

    “The box in your bag is emergency contraceptive pills. Do you think I’m illiterate?” Anne saw through

    Sarahughed awkwardly and felt nervous. She tidied her cor and brushed her hair.


    She wanted to make up an excuse, but who would buy such medication out of nowhere?


    “Who was it?” Anne asked.

    Anne sighed, “It’s fine to date and I’m not against you dating, but this medicine is very harmful to your


    body.”


    “I know I know. It’s only this time. Let’s go have dinner,e one!” Sarah pulled her toward the dining


    room.


    While they were having dinner, Anne asked, “Is that person single?”


    “It’s a one–off affair, so why so serious about it?”

    She got up and grabbed her phone.


    The caller ID was Michelle Grainger.


    This made her nervous. She previously asked Michelle to show Anne her sincerity, and this could not be


    it, right?

    Anne answered, “Do you need anything from me?”
