Redmption 234

    Redmption 234

The world of vibrant colors vanished under Brandon’s hands, leaving my

world in darkness. However, I wasn’t scared at all.

He was right beside me, and his warmth was moreforting than any light.

“Make a wish. From now on, with me by your side, your wishes wille true.” Brandon’s deep

voice whispered in my ear, like the notes of a cello.

The music in the observation cabin was soft. My heart began to rx, and slowly let go of its

    tension.

He wanted me to make a wish and I pondered what I should wish for.

Since my parents passed away, I didn’t know if I had any wishes left. When I was with Chris, my

wish was probably just for us tost forever.

But that was something I only wished for in my heart, and never really

    vocalized.

    Now, I needed to make a wish…

I asked myself what I wanted, but I wasn’t sure.

In the end, I thought of my parents and their death. I murmured, “I hope to find out the truth behind

    my parents‘ ident.”

“I’ll help with that,” Brandon immediately agreed.

I smiled and then pulled his hand away. “Then why make a wish when I could just tell you directly?”

“Then you wasted a good opportunity,” Brandon said as he tapped my

    head.

I smirked. “I stopped believing in this a long time ago.”

Saying that, I looked toward the dazzling lights. “Since my parents‘ death, I no longer believed in

    divine protection.”

My head felt warm again, but this time Brandon wasn’t just patting it. He was rubbing it. “From now

    on, believe in me.”

He wanted to be my guardian, to give me protection.

But he didn’t know that I only trusted myself to protect me.

The lights brightened once more, and it almost illuminated the entire night sky. The lights in the

amusement park were ever–changing. They never remained the same, ensuring you never saw the

    same light twice.

It could be said that the investment in the amusement park’s lighting project ounted for one–third

    of the total investment.

“This design of the Heart of the Ocean is one of my favorites,” I openly expressed my delight.

“There’s an even better oneing up,” Brandon replied with his usual confidence.

The lights that followed were more dazzling than thest, and I waspletely immersed in the

    disy.

I didn’t even notice that Brandon was holding me from behind, nor did I remember Chris in the

    opposing observation cabin.

It wasn’t until I waspletely absorbed in the beautiful light, joyfully turning to share my

excitement with Brandon, that I suddenly noticed Chris standing in the cabin across from us.

Chris was looking at me, just watching. Although I couldn’t see his expression, I could sense his

    calm demeanor.

    The calmness was almost eerie.

In that instant, all my nerves went rigid.

Even though I had moved on from Chris, he had been a part of my life for ten years. I couldn’t just

see him as a stranger, especially not at this moment. This made me feel as though I had deeply

    hurt him.

Brandon noticed my distress. Without saying a word, he held me tighter and then whispered softly

in my ear, “There’s a special light disy just for

    3/3

    you.”

“Huh?” 1 snapped back to reality.

Brandon had already taken out his phone and pressed a few buttons. Suddenly, all the lights went

    out.

At that moment, the colorful amusement park turned pitch ck. It feltpletely different from

when Brandon had covered my eyes earlier.

It was as if I had fallen into an abyss…

I instinctively grabbed onto Brandon. Before I could speak, the darkness was quickly reced by

    bright lights once again.

The previously extinguished lights came back on, shifting rapidly.to a deep sea blue. The entire

amusement park transformed into an ocean, with

    lights shifting like rolling waves.

This dynamic and three–dimensional effect hadn’t been in the original concept images.

“Is this a new addition? Did it go through…” I began to ask, but my words were cut off as the blue

sea lights began to change once more.

Inside, there was a four–dimensional silhouette. As the lights around the silhouette grew denser and

brighter, I clearly saw that it was a young girl. She had her hair styled in a bun and was wearing a

    princess dress.
