    Chapter 2160

Old Mr. Quintin furrowed his brows in thought before finally speaking up, "Estelle, I guess I didn''t

think this through. You''re right, I was too hasty. I might end up doing more harm than good."

Estelle replied, "Evelyn is still young, and if things get serious, you''ll have plenty of time to dote on

her. There''s no need to rush."

Old Mr. Quintin nodded in agreement, "Alright, I''ll take your advice. I won''t bring up her and

    Gabriel''s situation anymore."

Just as Estelle was about to respond, she noticed a shadow flit past the doorway. Soon after, the

door swung open and Evelyn stood there, holding a cup of tea, and said with a smile, "Estelle, I

made it in the kitchen. I brought some for you."

"Thanks, Evelyn," Estelle stood up to take the steaming cup.

"This is for you, grandpa," Evelyn set down the tea she had prepared for Old Mr. Quintin and added

with a grin, "You two chat. I''m going to check on Sophia."

With that, Evelyn turned and left.

Once outside the study, Evelyn''s expression darkened. She nced back at the firmly shut door,

pursed her lips, and walked away.

Inside the study, Old Mr. Quintin took a sip of his tea and said slowly, "Let''s not mention Evelyn for

now, but keep an eye on that Sylvia."

"Sylvia''s a good girl, not at all what you''re thinking." Estelle chuckled. "And her rtionship with my

    brother is quiteplicated."

She paused before adding, "I''ll bring Sylvia over to meet you sometime. She loves art and often

visits galleries; she just hasn''t formally studied it."

Old Mr. Quintin waved a dismissive hand, "No need, I''ve decided not to match Nana with Gabriel,

and I''m not impressed with Sylvia either. It''s better if we don''t meet."

Knowing Old Mr. Quintin''s stubborn nature, Estelle didn''t press the issue further and took a sip of

her tea, asking, "Any news from Vivian?"

Old Mr. Quintin''s mood seemed to darken as he shook his head, "I called yesterday, and her

assistant answered, saying she was very busy."

"Don''t worry, master, Vivian wille back," Estelle reassured him.

"Yeah, no rush. Now that Nana has been found, she''ll definitely return."

    "That''s right."

Old Mr. Quintin smiled, "I always feel at ease talking to you. You shoulde by more often."

Estelle smiled back, "But now you''ve got Evelyn to keep youpany, right?"

Old Mr. Quintin became serious, "Nana is Nana, and you''re you. Even when Nanaes back,

things between us will stay the same as before."

    Estelle nodded, "I understand."

Old Mr. Quintin''s spirits lifted, "Come over often, and try to convince your grandfather to spend

Christmas in J City. Gabriel''sing back too, let''s have a festive celebration together."

Estelle chuckled, "That might be a bit difficult."

Old Mr. Quintin huffed, "That stubborn old man, what''s so great about that manor of his that keeps

    him clinging to it."

In Estelle''s mind, wasn''t Old Mr. Quintin just as stubborn?

After a bit more conversation, Estelle stood up, "I have to visit a friend, so I won''t stay for lunch.

Keep an eye on Sophia, make sure she takes care of herself."

"She''s staying here, I''ll make sure she doesn''t get into any mischief. Don''t worry," Old Mr. Quintin

    assured her.

Estelle left the study and said goodbye to her grandfather before stepping out.

Gabriel stood up, "You''re off to see Xavier? I''lle with you."

The three of them headed out together, leaving Old Mr. Quintin to walk over and take a seat, saying

with a chuckle, "Everyone''s gone. Looks like it''s just you and me now."

Old Mr. Jarvis inquired, "What did Estelle tell you?"

Old Mr. Quintin didn''t beat around the bush, "Estelle said to drop the matter of Evelyn and Gabriel''s

    engagement."

Old Mr. Jarvisughed, "Estelle''s got more sense than you, old man."

"Hmph," Old Mr. Quintin turned away with a snort of disdain.

On the way to the barbecue restaurant, Estelle''s phone rang. It was Jason on the line.

He was clearly worried, "How''s Sophia doing?"
