    Estelle spun around abruptly, her eyes catching a menacing figure charging toward her in the dim

    Antonia, her face a patchwork from the acid burns, picked up the knife in a desperate attempt to


    approach again, but Sylvia spun and kicked her away.

    A ruthless glint crossed Sylvia''s face as she kicked Antonia squarely in the chest. Antonia fell to the


    ground, finally in too much pain to utter another word.


    Eugene, who had gone to fetch his car, ran over, protecting Sylvia, "What happened? Why the


    fight?"
