Chapter 1903
Huff and Estelle shook hands. Huff’s smile was warm and friendly. "Wee, Ms Re. I hope you
have a delightful time here!"
Estelle nodded gently, "Thank you!"
Huff had arranged amodations for them, with a servant leading the way to their lodgings.
They were staying in a quaint cottage, with a living room and a study on the ground floor, three
bedrooms upstairs—it seemed specifically set up for visitors.
As they entered, lights flickered on automatically in every room. A butler wheeled in a dining cart,
arranging an array of delectable dishes on the table. For the grand finale, he ced a bottle of Lafite by
the dishes.
The butler bowed respectfully, "I wish you both a pleasant meal."
"Though I might spoil your appetite, it seems we''re dining together tonight!" Lambert said with a soft
smile, slipping off his coat as he headed for the dining room.
The table was set immactely, with white bone china and silverware, allplemented by the soft

glow of candlelight—it was both romantic and elegant.
Lambert ate with grace, every movement oozing the air of nobility, a stark contrast to his usual
flirtatious demeanor.
Estelle began to cut her steak with a knife.
As Lambert leisurely sliced his steak, he began, "Let me give you a brief rundown of Zion."
Estelle paused mid-chew, looking up attentively.
In a low voice, Lambert exined, "Citadel is Triceratops territory. Triceratops is the head of an
organization, which you might not be familiar with. Just remember the name. Zion is one of Triceratops''
primary strongholds. They''ve gathered a plethora of researchers here, selling their findings worldwide
for profit."
"Triceratops had a brother named Wolverine, who was killed a couple of years back. After that, one of
Wolverine''s men named Raiden rose to power. He took over Wolverine''s remnants in no time and then
aligned himself with Triceratops, bing his right-hand man. Triceratops has been half-retired for the
past two years, with Raiden making most of the big decisions."
"A month ago, Zion started development new energy sources. As you know, the global energy crisis is
quite dire, so naturally, this research field is getting a lot of attention. Raiden is cautious and is looking
for a partner to secure the development. And we Brennans, are their chosen partners."
"Of course, I''m here to see if this new energy is as clean and efficient as they im, and if it could
indeed rece petroleum."
"Raiden?" Estelle frowned slightly, not recalling such a person among Wolverine''s ranks.
Lambert nodded, "Raiden is a mystery. He always wears a mask in public. No one has seen his true
face, well, except for the dead."
Estelle found this increasingly strange. She had spent time around Wolverine and had never heard of
such a person. If he hade into the pictureter, her intelligencework should have had
information on him.
Seeing Estelle''s contemtive expression, Lambert chuckled lightly, "Don''t overthink it. Raiden''s
mystery is of no consequence to us—we''re here for business. And of course, you''re here to protect
me."
"Do you anticipate danger here?" Estelle inquired.
"Nothing immediate, but anything can happen around here. It''s best to be alert and prepared," Lambert
replied.
Estelle nodded, "Since you''ve paid me, I''ll make sure you''re well-protected."
"That''s very reassuring to hear," Lambert said, his gaze intense, "For some reason, from the moment I
saw you, I felt I could trust you. Do you think it is fate arranged by the Almighty?"
Estelle let out a derisiveugh, "If God heard that, He''d be blue with disbelief!"
"What?" Lambert frowned, perplexed. "I don’t know why."
