    Chapter 1837

Sophie''s eyes sparkled with amazement as she clung to Estelle''s hand. "When I get married, I want

you to design my wedding dress too."

Estelle offered a warm smile. "Have you forgotten what your own job is?"

"I don''t care. I want to walk down the aisle in a dress you''ve designed!" Sophie giggled.

Estelle chuckled softly. "So, are you and Robin talking about tying the knot already?"

Sophie sighed. "Not even close. Robin''s really focused on his career right now; he doesn''t want any

distractions. But I''m in no rush. As long as he''s happy, I''m happy."

After a bit more casual chat, amotion erupted from downstairs. Morrison had arrived to fetch the

    bride.

Sophie quickly pulled Estelle into the bedroom, and the other bridesmaids buzzed with excitement and

nerves. They shut the door, ready to blockade the groom.

Morrison, in his sleek ck suit, exuded a gentlemanly stability, the faint smile softening his otherwise

indifferent demeanor, adding a schrly charm.

He had brought three groomsmen, and they were all stopped outside Magdalen''s bedroom door.

Sophie, leading the other bridesmaids, started firing off questions:

    "When was your first kiss?"

"What''s your favorite feature of Magdalen''s?"

"Groomsmen do push-ups, and the groom sings a song to cheer them on!"

Estelle sat beside Magdalen, watching Sophie and the others erupt into giggles and chaos, curious

about Morrison''s expression on the other side of the door.

Morrison handled the questions well, but singing proved to be a challenge.

The bridesmaids were relentless, insisting that he sing.

Then, the noise outside hushed. Sophie cracked the door open, and Morrison''s deep voice wafted in:

    It''s a beautiful night

we''re looking for something dumb to do

Hey baby I think I wanna marry you.

His deep, melodious voice seeped in, steady and unhurried, much like the love story he and Magdalen

    had lived together.

Suddenly, Magdalen stood up, walked over, and flung the door open. There she saw him, his gaze

lowered, singing softly, her eyes glistening with tears. She lunged into his arms.

Amidst the cheering of the crowd, Morrison swept her up, carried her into the room, andid her gently

on the bed. He knelt on one knee. "Darling, I''vee to get you!"

Magdalen gazed deep into his eyes. "I''ve been waiting for you!"

Sophie called out, "Magdalen, can''t you be a bit more demure?"

Magdalen turned back with a clear, bright smile. "I can''t help it. When I see him, I forget what demure

    even means!"

Laughter filled the room again.N?velDrama.Org owns this.

Morrison himself slipped shoes onto Magdalen''s feet and took her hand to lead her downstairs. They

offered their respects to Mr. and Mrs. Sampson as a farewell.

Mr. Sampson was visibly moved, forcing a smile while holding back tears.

But the smile on Mrs. Sampson''s face? That was nothing but genuine joy.
