    Estelle said, "You should stay out of Gab''s business. I have connections there, and I''ll let you know as


    soon as I get any news."


    Xavier frowned, "I don''t know why, but I''m feeling impatient this time. I really want to go check it out for


    myself."


    "Do you want to listen to me?" Estelle raised an eyebrow.


    "Has Jonathan spoiled you so much that you''re bingwless? No matter what, I taught you how to


    shoot. I''m at least half a mentor to you. And you expect me to take orders from you?" Xavier snorted.


    Estelle spoke calmly, "I''ll listen to you on other matters, but when ites to Gab, you have to listen to


    me!"


    Xavier, feeling restless, reached for a cigarette but remembered the women and children in the room


    and reluctantly resisted. His hand, instead, reached for his drink.


    "Let''s not talk about Gab today," Estelle said. "Let''s talk about Norah. She likes you?"

    Estelle chuckled softly, "I''m a regr at the Lamont family gatherings, and I''m quite close to Norah.


    Even if she doesn''t tell me, she can''t hide anything from me."


    Xavier nodded, "Good, then you talk to her. Convince her not to get too hung up."
