The manager watched Carson and hispanion walk away before turning and ring at Cindy. "Are
you out of your mind? Picking a fight with Mr. Foster''sdy?"

The manager frowned, "Even if it''s a misunderstanding, you just have to suck it up. You can''t sh with
a guest, remember the hotel''s rules? Go back and redo your training, and consider your bonus for this

"Don''t lump me with those men," Carson said with a low chuckle, setting down the antiseptic and
picking up an ointment tube. He applied the cool, pale green ointment onto the scratches on her hand.
The coolness of the ointment and the warmth of his hand holding hers were a stark contrast, making it
hard to decide which was more appealing.
Soon after, Carson finished applying the ointment and packed it away, suggesting, "Do you want to fix
your hair?"
Marina was straightforward. Without heading to the restroom, she let her hair down, ran her fingers
through it to untangle the knots, and casually tied it up again.
