Chapter 1668
On her way home, Estelle popped into a candy shop and got two bear-shaped choctes. She
savored one herself and saved the other for Kya.
Along her way, she received a call from Jonathan, “What are you up to?”
Estelle crunched the chocte in her mouth, the bittersweet milky vor spreading delightfully. She
looked down at the pebbles on the road, her eyes glinting with a soft smile, “Just made a pit stop at a
candy shop.”
“Found anything appetizing?” The man asked gently.
“Choctes, and some gxy lollipops!”
“Did you get me anything?” His voice carried an amusedugh.
“Sure did. I’m waiting for you back home.”
“Why don’t you bring them over now?” Jonathan’s voice turned softer, 7 miss you. Come keep me
Estelle nced at her wristwatch, and responded warmly, “Alright, I’lle by in a bit!”
“I’ll send Mird to pick you up!”

Estelle hung up, her steps lightened as she walked toward her apartmentplex, seemingly all her
worries flew away at the sound of Jonathan’s voice.
She first went to Emily’s house. Figuring Kya might be taking her afternoon nap, she didn’t knock.
Instead, she hung the candy shop’s paper bag on the doorknob.

After leaving the chocte for Kya, Estelle went back to her apartment, tied her loose hair back,
grabbed her car keys, and headed out.
Upon reaching the Lamont Group, the receptionist recognized Estelle, greeting her with a warm smile.
Estelle waved back and headed toward the private elevator for the CEO.
As she stepped out of the elevator, Kally was alone in the office. She stood up with a warm smile.
“Estelle, you’re here!”
“Is Mr. Lamont in?” Estelle asked.
Kally pointed to the CEO’s office, “You can go right in!“
Estelle knocked on the door, a deep male voice responded, “Come in

Estelle walked over, handing him the paper bag, her lips curling into a standard smile, “Mr. Lamont, can
you please leave a five-star review?”
Jonathan caught her hand and pulled her into hisp, resting his head against hers, his voice
seductively asking, “Can I have a taste first?”
Estelle sat on hisp, slightly tilting her head back, her eyes gleaming like a starry night sky.
Jonathan’s eyes deepened, he leaned in slightly and ced a soft kiss on her rosy lips.
Estelle felt the heat from the man, she couldn’t help but shiver slightly. She pushed his shoulders,
whispering, “Mr. Lamont, I brought you candy. Are you sure you didn’t mistake it for something else?”
Jonathan’s eyes narrowed with a hint of amusement, “Why didn’t you say so earlier? I thought you
were offering yourself. Anyway, I’mpletely satisfied with you Anything else would be a
disappointment!”
Estelle hugged his shoulders, burying her head in his chest and stifled augh.
Jonathan felt a soft tug at his heart, he caressed the top of her head, his voice tender, “What did you do
today?”
Estelle repliedzily, “I spent two hours on some design drafts this morning, but I couldn’t find any
inspiration.”
“No inspiration, huh?” Jonathan murmured, “Funny, I didn’t feel like working this morning either I was
distracted because I was missing you. What about you?”
Estelle lifted her head from his chest, her tone serious, “Jonathan, did you turn on some kind of charm
cheat?”
He effortlessly threw out sweet nothings
“I just had some honey, so naturally, I’m sweet! His handsome face broke into a smile, he leaned in to
kiss her, “Here, have a taste!”
Estelle lightly bit him, “You’re smooth talking, one atar”
Jonathan chuckled, deeply kissing her, “Take a closer look There might be more to it than you think”
After a while, Estelle said, “You should get back to work I need to work on my design drafts”
