    Jonathan raised an eyebrow, “Do you suspect that he set you up all those years ago to get you out of


    the organization by faking your death?”


    “No!” Estelle was adamant. Her brother wouldn’t do that. He wouldn’t know their mission was

    The next day, Estelle and her group spent another day in City C.


    Mr. Jarvis took Kya up the mountain, picking wild berrjes, chestnuts, and walnuts from trees. They were


    having a st, and when they got back, Wade taught Kya how to peel chestnuts.


    In the evening, the kitchen used the chestnuts they brought back to make roasted chestnuts, chicken

    Back in City J, Estelle returned to work on the set the next day, while Emily began interviewing for new


    jobs.


    That night, Emily cooked a feast and told Estelle that she had sessfullynded a job as a mid-level


    designer.


    Estelle was happy for Emily. She was a graduate from a prestigious university and was very capable.


    Finding a job was a piece of cake for her! After dinner, Estelle and Emily kicked back with a few cans of


    beer on the balcony. Emily was full of hope for the future, “Estelle, I’m going to work hard. I aim to


    be a senior designer within a year! And I hope my dad can turn over a new leaf. When he gets


    old, I’ll buy a big house with a yard for him to retire. I’ll take care of Kya.”


    Estelle took a swig of her beer, her eyes clear, “Your dreams wille true!”


    Emily’s eyes sparkled as she clinked her can against Estelle’s, “Estelle, I’ve learned so much from you.

    and strive to be stronger


    Emily used to be anxious, but sheter realized that it was because she felt powerless. A lot of things
