Cindy bit her lower lip, looking even more pitiful. “Could you lend me some money? Just ten thousand
dors. I can pay you back two thousand a month, and I’ll pay it all off within six months.”
Marina was starting to admire Cindy. Borrowing ten grand and paying it off over six months, that meant
