    After the match ended, it was already noon, and Carson organized a gathering for a meal.

    decided to leave once her mom gets out of the hospital.”

    Estelle nced at him and slowly replied, “Nah, Emily’s been held up too long because of her mom’s


    illness, and the school has already started pressuring her.”


    Charlie’s gaze turned icy. If it wasn’t because of him, he’d be even more pissed.


    He asked with a poker face, “Is she graduating this year?”


    “Yes.”


    “What are her ns? Coming back after graduation or staying in Oakdale City?”

    father? Why did he abandon her and her mother?”

    Charlie, apparently pissed, got up and headed outside for a smoke.
