    Jonathan’s face shifted. He walked into his study before responding, “Maduro?”


    “It’s me!” The voice sounded rough. “T need a favor.”


    Jonathan used to be a mercenary, and he and Maduro had spent half a year together in the same


    team. They had both saved each other’s life before.
