Jonathan was sitting on the balcony sofa, looking at the message from E with a tender expression on
his handsome
face.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Henson came in. “Uncle, my grandma wants you to
cards.”
Cathrine was looking for someone to y cards, while Alcott and Geoffrey Lamont were having tea and
chatting. The only people ying cards were Cathrine, Janice, and Norah.
Cathrine didn’t see Jonathan on the first floor, so she instructed Henson to call him.
“I’ll be right there!” Jonathan put away his phone and got up to leave.
When he arrived on the first floor, Cathrine immediately called out, “Jonathan,e over here quickly.”
Henson turned on the TV, and Jonathan nced at it.
After a while, the servant came over, “Madam, the Hanson family is here!”
Cathrine looked up at Jonathan with a meaningful nce.
“Mrs. Hanson just called me saying they wereing over for a visit, and they’ve arrived so quickly.”
Jonathan didn’t respond.
Cathrine got up to greet them, and the three members of the Hanson family had alreadye in.
Yvonne first greeted gently, “Auntie.”
Cathrine smiled warmly, “Come in and sit down!”
Mr. Hanson and Mrs. Hanson came together, Mr. Hanson went to see Geoffrey, and Mrs. Hanson led

was feeling too bored, so we came over to join the fun!”
“Wee!” Cathrine said with a gentle smile.
Janice had alreadye over and politely offered her seat.
Yvonne nced at Jonathan sitting in the lounge, her eyes filled with unspeakable tenderness.
Her mother had proposed a visit to the Lamont family, and she was more than willing toply. It was
evident that her parents harbored intentions of arranging her marriage with Jonathan and securing her
union with the Lamont family.
As thedies sat in the living room chatting, Jonathan’s mother turned to call her son, only to find that
he had already left through the side door.
Yvonne immediately got up, “I’ll go find Jonathan and have a chat.”
“Go ahead!” Jonathan’s mother said with a chuckle.
