Chapter 412
When they arrived at Carson’s vi, everyone else was already there, popping open champagne in the
living room.
Upon seeing Estelle, Yvonne enthusiastically went up to greet her, “Hi, Estelle!”
Then she looked at Emily, “And who might this lovelydy be?”
Estelle introduced them to each other.
Emily’s eyes widened, “You’re… Yvonne, right? The movie star?”
Yvonne smiled gracefully, “There’s no movie star here, just friends. So don’t treat me like one.”
Emily’s eyes sparkled as she nodded, “I’m a fan! I love all your movies! You’re even more beautiful in
person!”
“Thank you! How about this,” Yvonne smiled gently, “If you treat me as a friend, I’ll sign an autograph

for you. Deal?”
Emily hesitated for a moment, then smiled, ncing at Estelle, thinking that Yvonne was just as ssy
and elegant as she heard from the media.
“Another beautifuldy joins us!” Carson walked over eyes curving as he looked at Emily, “Hey there!
I’m Carson–handsome, fit, and a homeowner. Most importantly, I don’t have a girlfriend yet!”
Carson was good–looking, and when he spoke, his eyes always seemed to hold a mischievous smile,
making it easy for people to like him.
Charlie nced over, joking, “watch out for karma when you lie!”
Carson quickly replied, “I just broke up yesterday! I’m not lying about not having a girlfriend now, am
1?”
“You just broke up yesterday, and already have so many girls lining up to wait for you today.” Charlie
snorted coldly toward Emily, “Don’t bother with him!”
“Mr. James, isn’t it a bit too much to put down your friend in front of a beautiful woman?” Carson
yfully put his arm on Charlie’s shoulder as they walked away, still throwing a flirtatious look back at
Emily. “Hey gorgeous, wanna line up? I can even let you cut the queue!”
Emily couldn’t helpughing.
Yvonnemented, “These guys are always like this – just joking around but never with ill intentions.
Estelle knows that too, so don’t take it to heart.”
-Emily nodded, “It’s okay. We tease each other among ssmates all the time too!”
Yvonne nodded, then looked at Estelle, “They said we’re having a costume party tonight. Why don’t
you two help me pick out a dress?”
“Sure!” Estelle smiled.
“Me too!” Emily eagerly held Estelle’s hand.
Yvonne kept the costumes from all her films. She even had a vi just for them. Today she asked her
agent to bring over two boxes filled with historical and modern costumes, all of high–quality

materials and craftsmanship, worth quite a fortune.
When Emily entered the walk–in wardrobe, she was amazed. Excitedly, she pointed to a cheongsam,
“This is the dress you wore in that famous movie! I loved it and have a very clear memory of it.”
Yvonne nced back and giggled, “You truly are my fan!”
Emily smiled, “Actually, I never follow celebrities, but I really admire you!”
“Thank you!” Yvonne gracefully epted thepliment and exined, “The costumes for that movie
were all designed by KING!”
Emily immediately asked, “Have you met KING?”
