Chapter 251
“What should we eat tonight?” Norah Lamont twirled her eyes, “Steak? Sushi? Or BBQ?”
Sometimes Estelle Macin felt that Norah was so down–to–
earth that she didn’t seem like a rich girl from a wealthy family at all. She wasn’t pretentious like those
celebrities, and she could enjoy a happy meal even those hole–in–the–wall ces.
Maybe that was why Nics had been dating her for so long but he never thought she’d be the daught
er of the Lamont family.
In the end, they went to a barbecue restaurant that Nics had chosen.
When Estelle and Norah arrived at the BBQ ce, it was still early and there weren’t many customers.
They chose a spot by the window and waited for Nics.
About half an hourter, Nics arrived. With a guest.
Estelle’s eyes darkened when she saw Leah. How dare Nics brazenly bring Leah in front of Norah?
Was he ready toe clean with Norah?
Norah saw Nics first and quickly got up to greet him, shouting happily, “Nics, we’re over here!”
Nics came over and introduced Leah to Norah, he looked a bit uneasy for a moment, “Norah, this is
my cousin, Leah.”
“Leah, this is my girlfriend, Norah,”
Estelle, “……”
She wasn’t particrly versed in matters of the rtionship, so she was quite baffled
by Nics‘ actions.
Norah was also a bit dumbfounded, wondering howe Nics suddenly had a cousin that he’d nev
er mentioned before. However, she still politely reached out her hand, “Nice to meet you!”
Leah was dressed in designer clothes, carrying a limited edition LV bag, sporting a huge ruby ne
around her neck and matching earrings. Her wrist was adorned with a diamond bracelet. At first nce,
one might think she looked like a Christmas treeing to life.
Estelle was almost blinded by the re of the jewelry.
Leah, as if she didn’t see Norah’s hand reaching out, clung to Nics arm
and snuggled up to him sweetly, “I’ve always heard my cousin talk about you, and I’ve been wanting to
meet you, so I came along today. You don’t mind, do you?”
Norah withdrew her hand, watching Leah practically drape herself over Nics, her smile faltered, “Of
course not, the more the merrier.”
Nics looked somewhat embarrassed, discreetly pushing Leah away
and turning to Estelle, “And you are?”
He hadn’t recognized Estelle from the dimly lit private roomst night, where she had been
the waitress who delivered the drinks.
Norah introduced them, “This is my ssmate, Estelle.”
Before Nics could say anything, Leah suddenly tugged on his sleeve, whining in a cutesy voice, “Let’
s eat, I’m starving!”
Feeling guilty, Nics nced at Norah and quickly said, “Okay, I’ll have the waiter take our order.”
As they sat down, Leah naturally took Nics‘ arm and sat next to him, while Norah and Estelle sat acr
oss from them.
When they started ordering, Leah picked up the menu
and began pointing at various items, “I want this, and this, and this…”
After rambling off a bunch of dishes, she handed
the menu to the waiter, “That’s it, that should be enough.”
Nics quickly grabbed the menu and handed it to Norah, “Norah, you and
your friend go ahead and order a few more dishes that you like.”
Leah pretended to be suddenly enlightened, covering her mouth and saying, “Sorry, it’s just that
my cousin and I have alwayse here to eat, so I am used to ordering dishes for two people.”
Norah looked at Nics, “Weren’t you working overtime recently?”Property of N?)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
