Just then, a furious roar bizarrely erupted.
The three girls were taken aback, hastily opening their eyes, yet they saw no trace of anyone. It was
only then that they realized the fierce roar they had heard earlier had emanated from the corpse.
“Ah! IGhost!”
With a scream of unparalleled terror, Nte turned and ran.
Emrys bellowed, “Quit ying games and show yourself!”
At the same time, a sigil rapidly formed before him.
In dealing with demonic entities, the magecraft of a friar was far more effective than any other
approach.
Emrys was also experienced in it.
Whoosh!
A strange, dark fog suddenly emerged from the man’s corpse.
“Ghost n!”

Emrys‘ pupils constricted, as he recognized the entity.
This was already his third encounter with them.
Within the dark fog, a face eerily materialized, expressing surprise as it said, “Oh? You’re actually
aware of the ghost n’s existence. You’re indeed extraordinary.”
“I don’t care about your race. I just wanted to know, why did youe to kill me?‘
Although Emrys had previously dealt with the ghost n twice, once involving Angelina’s father,
Michael, and another time with the leader of Sinister Spirit Sect, it certainly wasn’t the same reason as
why the ghost n had sought him out that day.
It must have been some of his actions that had infringed upon. the interests of the ghost n, which
was why they hade to kill him.
However, no matter how hard Emrys tried, he couldn’t recall ever having any conflicts of interest with
the ghost n. Therefore, he was determined to clear his doubts.
“You had better confess!”
Emrys‘ face was stern, the dark green sigil in front of him had already fully formed, ready to deal with
the ghost at any
moment.
However, the dark fog sneered, “You think such trivial sorcery can hold me back? Sky Devourer Lord,
you are truly naive. Our n members will soon return to for you, and… this youngdy!”

The ghost, with its abstract features, suddenly eked out a faint, eerie smile. It first nced at Emrys,
then quickly turned its gaze toward Yelena.
His gaze lingered on Yelena was even longer than when it rested. on Emrys.
It was clear that he was bing increasingly interested in Yelena, and unexpectedly surprised too.
Yelena wore a troubled expression, her whole body radiating a sense of unease.
Emrys also furrowed his brows. Seeing that the ghost was trying to escape, he immediatelyunched
an attack with the dark green sigil in front of him.
p!
A me ignited within the ck fog, but it was quickly extinguished.
The dark fog vanished into the ground in an instant.
Indeed, it had managed to escape, causing Emrys toment in
regret.
This ghost, pared to the two he had encountered before, was significantly more powerful.
Emrys had indeed made some progress with his magecraft, but this ghost was not like the usual
demonic entities, so it was not so easy to deal with!

only Karina ishere.
In Karina’s possession was a magical treasure–the Soul Searching Bell, which held immense power
over the ghost n. Had she been present, she would have certainly prevented this entity from
escaping so easily.
Unfortunately, perhaps influenced by Mystique, Karina never stayed in one ce for long. Not long
after returning home, she had unknowingly wandered off to some unknown ce again.
She truly was a lively youngdy who couldn’t stay put.
Emrys let out a soft sigh, turning to Yelena and asking, “Lena, do you still have that strange feeling?”
“It’s gone. After that strange dark fog left just now, the feeling disappeared,” replied Yelena.
Emrys pondered, Lena indeed has a special perceptivity toward the ghost n. It seems that there’s
more to her than meets the eye.
