    “Of course, I’m going to kill you and rip your dragon essence out from your body. I’ll be unstoppable with the draconic essence and Pentacarna Tower in my possession!”


    A crazed look flickered in Skr’s eyes. His aura slowly spread across the area as he unleashed his rampaging killing intent.


    Meanwhile, Jared, who witnessed the almost entirely berserk Skr, said calmly, “Let’s talk about this outside, shall we?”


    “Why? Are you afraid?”


    Skr returned Jared a mocking nce.


    “Yes. I’m afraid that Pentacarna Tower would be wrecked. I can take your life anywhere and any time if I wanted to.” Jared smirked in reply.

    With that said, Skr turned around and descended the tower.


    He, too, was afraid that their fight would leave the Pentacarna Tower in the wreckage. After all, this tower was very precious, and it mustn’t suffer any damage.


    On the other hand, Jared followed behind Skr, whose expression twisted gloomily upon setting his eyes on his subordinates that suffered a tragic death.


    Upon catching a glimpse of Skr’s horrible expression, Jared smiled and said, “You Norton family’s men are so weak. I merely gave them a few ps, and they’re gone just like that.”


    “Jared, you’d better not be so full of yourself. As I said, I am as powerful as a Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster. Do you even know what this means? There’s not even a single person among the younger generation in Jadeborough that has achieved this level! With my current strength, I can even hold a ce on the Sage Leaderboard! I’ll make sure that you will suffer before you die if you insist on fighting me,” Skr stated fiercely as he ground his teeth.


    “Oh? Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster?” Jared pretended to be surprised. “I didn’t expect that you would manage to reach this level so fast. That’s scary.”


    Skr got cocky upon seeing Jared’s surprised look, and he said, “Jared, do you know my power now? If you hand out the draconic essence and your precious magical items, perhaps, I may even spare you. Otherwise, I’ll make sure that death will be a luxury to you.”


    Jared, however, smiled as he stared at Skr’s smug expression. “You may be very dangerous and powerful with that Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster strength, but in my eyes, I still think that you stillck something to kill me. I’m afraid what you wish for won’t happen so easily.”

    Never would he ever thought that Jared’s strength could surpass a Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster’s. It had only been a while since theyst saw each other on Dragon Ind. Hence, no matter how talented Jared was, it was impossible that he could improve so much that he could overwhelm a Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster in that short time frame.


    “Maybe just a bit stronger?” Jared made a gesture to support his statement.


    “Hmph! Don’t even think about fooling me. I merely reached this level through the help of Pentacarna Tower, so there’s no way you could have…” Skr suddenly shut his mouth before he finished his words, for he almost revealed the secrets of the tower. At this point, he still thought that Jared was unaware of its secrets.


    “If you don’t believe me, I could always give you a test run.” Jared’s aura slowly peaked as he finished his sentence. In a blink of an eye, intimidating spiritual energy started forming around him.


    Along with the hike of Jared’s aura was the trembling of the earth.

    Skr’s eyes twitched uncontrobly, and the murderous intent in him intensified.


    Jared was just too talented. Knowing that Jared managed to improve so much in that short time frame, Skr was crystal clear that if he let Jared live, he would turn into a massive threat to the Norton family!
