Chapter 3024
Eustace‘s expressions darkened the moment he heard that.
“What did you say?”
“You won’t sign? So you’re saying you want to serve that piece of garbage like Lorelei, huh? Are you
going to betray me?”
Edgar released his aura, malicious intent so overpowering that it felt like arge boulder. After that, he

However, L seemed to have expected this. She leaped from the ground and dodged Eustace’s
attack.
“I don’t want to be the ve of someone. I enjoy freedom! Young Lord, I served you because her
highness requested I support you for three thousand years! Three thousand years have passed, but
you’re forcing me to sign a soul contract now?”
“I’m truly sorry. I simply can’t agree with this!” she said before running off to the west.
“Hmph! Do you really think you can be free after three thousand years?” Eustace lunged towards her
with a cold sneer.
Three thousand years ago, Eustace was no match for L at all.
Now that it had passed, his cultivation level had long exceeded hers-his powers even more apparent
when he attacked her out of anger. As the sword came mming down, L had to block his attack
while escaping.
Ding!
L used a sword as well, but it instantly broke in half.
Pshhh!
L’s entire arm was cut off just like that. The difference in strength between the two was evident.
“L, I’m giving you another chance. Will you sign the contract or not?” Eustace asked with a chilling
expression.
“Without freedom, I’d rather die!” L said, determined. “l’m beginning to regret listening to her
highness, supporting someone like you. Maybe Big Sis made the right choice. You don’t deserve to be
the seed.”
“I’ll kill you!”
Eustace was even more intent to kill, his sword glistening in the light as he brandished it. It looked like it
was falling from the skies as it shed towards L’s neck.
L knew that she wouldn’t be escaping death. She simply closed her eyes and awaited her fate.
ng!
Aloud clunk filled the air. It appeared Eustace’s sword didn’tnd on L’s neck.
It wasn’t because he wanted to show mercy all of a sudden, but two of L’s sisters hade to her
aid, blocking his deadly attack.
“Resha Jamison, Cordelia Wilde, are you two trying to go against me too?” Eustace demanded, ring
at the women with sheer rage.
Cordelia said, “Young Lord, Seventh Sis may be wrong, but she had served you for three thousand
years. Please spare her, especially since she has done so much for you.”
Eustace yelled. “She betrayed me, yet you’re asking me to forgive her?”
Resha replied. “Seventh Sis doesn’t want to betray you, Young Lord. She just doesn’t want to sign the
contract.”
“What about you two, then?”
“We… Won’t sign it either.”
“Then you should all go to hell!”
Eustace was even angrier at this point, swinging his sword once more.
Boom!
The ground started shaking.
After all, the sword was very strong, it could destroy the mountain on the other side. After a sh by a
weapon of such magnitude, it was obvious how a person would’ve had ended.
“Run!” Cordelia shouted and brought out a secret weapon. Along with Resha, they helped L up and
picked up her broken arm, running off to a far distance.
“Do you think you can escape? I am the lord of this sanctuary!”
“Come to me, Umbre of Destiny!”
The moment Eustace pulled out the umbre, L and the others instantly knew they were in grave
danger. The mystical tool was extremely powerful, able to attack and defend. It was a gift from the God
of Destiny from ancient times to defeat the Undead n.
Yet now, Eustace was using it to fight the women who had helped him for the past three thousand
years.
Boom!
