Chapter 2660
“The Soul Collection Coffin?”
The emperor was really surprised to see Alex dragging a coffin over with one hand. He didn’t have
such precious Buddhist treasure with him.
Unlike him, Alex possessed two of such treasures.
‘What in the… Who is the Bodhi here?’
The golden fog that the emperor formed was utterly sucked up by the coffin, not leaving a single speck
of dust. Under Shelly’s lead, Alex managed to reach the front of the tomb swiftly.
He hadn’t been able to observe it from such a short distance, but now that he had, he was still
somewhat terrified.
Thergest tombstone stood tall in the middle as if it were the core of thisrge graveyard. It was
hundreds of feet tall, with tightly-packed symbols all over. None of them were legible, though, so Alex
was sure they didn’te from his location. However, each word and symbol looked as if they had a
specificw power within them. Moreover, thisrge tombstone was surrounded by neatly-arranged
graves.

Every grave had a designated ck tombstone, each carved with an actual name.
These were all the names of the trialists who had died in the past.
At the time, there was an empty space on top of the tomb, with a group of people standing neatly in
rows. Those were the trialists that the emperor had summoned by force. They seemed to be standing
in a formation… Yet the weirdest part was that there was an unsealed grave right next to them.
Inside were several red caskets.
“F*ck!”
“The Ptial is just way too f*cked up. He’s literally trying to bury these trialists alive!”
Alex couldn’t help but curse since he knew no other way to express his current emotions. On the other
hand, trialists continued to grow in numbers. There were over three thousand of them now and
counting.
Alex was confused. He had hunted down several trialists for the past few months and had even taken a
detour just to do that. Yet, he had never encountered this many, which contradicted what he saw now.
‘Could they be hiding?’
“Soul Collection Coffin, activate!” Alex yelled, lifting the lid of the coffinpletely.
Anna was still lying inside, pletely silent. She looked like she was soaked in some energy solution,
but a whirlpool appeared on its own, attracting the energy that was a disturbance to soul power.
This tool was definitely made to target those who were affected by such energy.
Some trialists flew over the bridge, wanting to send themselves into the tomb. In the end, the coffin
sucked that odd energy out of them, instantly waking them. When they saw the caskets prepared for
them, they couldn’t help but scream.
“Argh!”
Just then, the emperor let out a scream, infuriated as he red at Alex with bloody eyes filled with
malicious intent.
Back then, Alex was just a pawn that he could use any time he wanted. However, everything was
different now. Alex had shown that he was capable of fighting, and this would affect his n greatly.
Hence, he had to kill Alex right here, right now.
The emperor’s bald head became ever bulkier as his face twisted into an obscure expression. He
lookedpletely different from the time he was still the innocent, young monk.
Whoosh!
Pure white hair began sprouting out of his head. It got so long it started to touch the ground. His head
was now draped under glistening white hair, each strand flowing with the wind.
The emperor no longer looked like the little bald monk before, turning into a demon king.
Shelly scoffed. “You should’ve shown this form earlier. You look more like the little bastard that you are
now!”
“What?!” The emperor let out an extraordinarily chilling and frustrated expression. “Just die!”
The emperor then shook his head, making strands of his hair into sharp des. After that, he sent
them flying towards Alex and Shelly.
Shelly reached an arm out, shouting. “Lock!”
Hundreds of thick, rusty iron chains flew out from the bottom of the bridge. All of them faced the white
hair head-on, chaining them down.
