    “You guys are just too weak!”


    Alex stared at those people. It was apparent that they were scared out of their bones. Despite multiple


    people attacking, he still managed to defeat them. Moreover, he had the Mystic Maiden by his side


    since the arrow she shot was just too frightening.


    Whoosh!


    Suddenly, ten people or so rushed out from the forest. They were all in colorful clothing of various


    styles. All of them seemed to have clothes on, and their style was simr to the Novians they


    encountered before.


    Judging by how they spoke, Alex was sure that these people were, in fact, trialists from Gxy Nova.


    “I want her bow!” Someone pointed towards the Mystic Maiden and yelled.


    “I want that sword!”


    “These two came out from the broken temple, so don’t kill them. Kill the rest.”


    These Novians had surrounded them, each holding different weapons. Not only were cold weapons


    there, but even hot weapons. Since they had locked in their targets, these people attacked without


    hesitation.


    Boom!


    The ones with hot weapons immediately fired explosives towards Lunafreya and her group.


    It was apparent that the hunter had be the prey. Lunafreya’s team had been waiting here to


    ambush Alex and the Mystic Maiden, yet the Novians were also right behind them.


    These Novians were even stronger than Alyssa, their weapons quite exquisite too. In just a few


    moments, at least ten light bombs were shot toward the ‘hunters’.


    Johann was the unluckiest of them all, his Immortal Wheel of Life shattered from the impact, causing a


    drastic drop in his strength. He was also badly wounded and being the tallest and bulkiest in the group,


    several bombs locked him as a target.


    These hot weapons might’ve looked modern, but they were activated by Earth’s essence. It was simply


    extraordinary power.

    “Be careful! ” someone yelled, eyes widened.


    Yet it was all toote everyone here had been locked as a target. Hence, all had to face at least a


    bomb or two. They wouldn’t be able to save themselves even if they wanted to.


    Pfft, pfft, pfft…


    Johann’s body was instantly smashed. His skeleton broke into small pieces, which were sent flying into


    the air. His soul had been destroyed in an instant as well. The rest didn’t die, but they were currently in


    a poor state.


    Lunafreya’s white battle suit was torn, and some of her bones were fractured.


    This was because Alex had instinctively used his Xavion Sword to partially block out the attack. She


    would’ve ended up worse otherwise.


    The most powerful out of the group was another woman. She wasn’t quite strong, but her treasures


    were immacte.


    A bright red fireball surrounded her as if a phoenix wrapped itself around her skeleton. This bird


    obstructed all the light bombs aiming for her, but she was not hurt one bit.


    “Lune!” After seeing her friend getting injured, the woman rushed over, hoping to protect herpanion


    with the phoenix.


    However, her treasures were only meant to protect its wearer and would take nobody else into


    consideration. So even if she embraced Lunafreya tightly, she would only be able to protect her front,


    not her back.


    Since she was unable to move freely, however, Lunafreya’s got bombed at her back


    She let out a painful wail as her bones fractured.


    It was fortunate that she was wearing some decent defense treasures. Along with her own mystical


    defense skills, she managed to partially cancel the attack. She would’ve died otherwise.
