    “Venom Widow?!”


    Once the guard recognized Frostine’s face, he started shaking and almost peed his pants.

    “You! Go to that corner and kill yourself,” Frostine growled to the guard coldly. “I don’t want to kill


    anyone in front of our family’s child.”


    The guard’s heart dropped, his face turning even paler than before. He didn’t want his life to end like


    this. However, he knew that his entire family would be destroyed if he didn’t listen to the cruel Venom


    Widow.


    He had his parents, wife, and kids too. In the end, he clenched his teeth and actually went to the corner


    of the street and stabbed himself in the heart. Before taking thisst breath, he whispered in a frail and


    shaky voice, “Fifth Lady, please… Spare my family!”


    The other guards trembled with fear, unable to speak. This wasn’t what they had initially been


    expected.


    Alex took a nce at the leader’s corpse in the corner and turned to the others. “Go back and tell your


    master to meet me here tomorrow. Otherwise, I’ll make him regret.”


    “Well? What are you waiting for? Scram!” Frostine scolded.


    Immensely relieved, the Yggdrasill guards scurried off like rats.


    Frostine seemed d and lowered her head, causing a pleasant scent to waft into Alex’s nose.


    From this angle, she would be able to kiss him if she leaned in closer. She smiled and said, “Now that’s


    more like the old master! The Yggdrasill family is no match for us anyway. If Master were to be here, he


    could exterminate that entire family with one attack.”


    “My dad was that powerful?” Alex froze.


    He only remembered William as an ordinary businessman. After some investigating, he only managed


    to gather information to prove that William was a grandmaster.


    Yet, ording to what Frostine just said, his father wasn’t nearly as simple as he thought him to be.


    ‘How many other things are you hiding from me, old man?’


    “Did you not know about this? Magistra too, she’s just as powerful,” Frostine said.

    “I’m talking about your mom!” Frostine replied.

    ‘God damn it. My mom’s still in America!’

    After this incident, Frostine decided she would stay the night with them.


    The Yggdrasill family, on the other hand, was facing the shock of their lives. Shawn and Khloe had


    initially returned home just to wait for their subordinates to bring Alex back. They weren’t worried one


    bit. However, in stead of bringing Alex back, they brought their leader’s corpse.


    After questioning the team, all of them were aghast.


    “Venom Widow?”


    “Why would Venom Widow be involved? That cripple actually got on her good side?”


    “They even want me to go meet him tomorrow?” Shawn was terrified after hearing what his guards


    said, but he was even angrier than before.


    However, one of the higher-ranking members within the family rushed in, clearly panicked. “Master, I


    just got some news from Treasure Trove! That cripple who’s with Dory killed the niece of one of the


    Yggdrasill madames and a guard there, yet he managed to walk out scot free!”


    “What? How did that happen?”


    “Rumors said that the cripple is Venom Widow’s lover. They apparently even had a child together.”


    Upon hearing this, the Yggdrasills were so upset that it felt like they swallowed a dead rat. Khloe,
