    Alex flung her hand away. “Don’t be so casual with me. I have a wife.”

    more effective than regr antidote pills. Not only could it help with detoxification, but it could cure

    called Dorothy to check in with her. Hence, he called her first and updated her on everything briefly.


    Dorothy was indeed worried about his safety, so she was very relieved to receive his call. After some


    small talk, she went to inform the others.


    Alex then dialed Cheryl’s number, but a man seemed to have picked up instead.


    Alex froze. ‘Why would a man pick up Cheryl’s phone at this hour?’


    ‘Could they be… Sleeping together?’


    “Is Cherry here?” He asked, suppressing the nervousness within his head.


    “Cherry? Who are you?”


    Alex frowned. “And who are you? Pass Cheryl the phone.”


    The man replied. “I’m her boyfriend. She’s sleeping right now. So don’t bother us for no reason.”


    After saying this, the call ended.


    When Alex redialed her number, the phone seemed to have been turned off. Alex stood there, stunned


    and upset.


    Unfortunately, Nora overheard their conversation and chuckled. “What? Your girlfriend slept with


    someone else? Aww, look at you! You’re turning green!”
