June 17 Summer was almost there. It was mid-noon as the sun''s rays fall on my cheeks. I remember the feeling of the cold floor that I was laying on, listening to the sound of Higurashi*.The metal bracelet that I was wearing had two bells that jingled as I fanned myself with an Uchiwa*.My eyes were closed and the feeling of void felt perpetual. Each day felt like forever and the sensation of the next day just made me more miserable.


    I felt something cold running down my face, "am I crying?"A tear fell from my eyes as I stood up and covered my eyes to stop the tears. I was crying tho I didn''t feel any pain, I had several questions that only I could answer but I didn''t want to answer myself or was I too afraid to answer myself? I was always told not to trust anyone, has it come to a point where I can''t even trust myself? Engulfing myself to go higher did I forget where I initially belonged or I didn''t belong anywhere from start? Letting off them was easy forthwith do me a favour and forgive myself.

    I turned left and I could listen to the wind coming from the window, she was calling me like a melody on repeat. I stepped toward the window, the closer I went the more I could feel the more I could hear, the wind blew my hair as if she was embracing me but seconds after she was gone, I was left behind. Not being able to hold it, my tears stopped accepting the fact that my wind was gone. It''s said time is the greatest healer, every day I yearned for another blow of wind just so it could carry my home. But it never came. I no longer wait for the wind but did time heal me or...
