    directions, they arrived at his house, and Theo parked the car.


    The smell of rot and mold enveloped them as soon as they opened the door. Bonnie and Theo furrowed

    Bonnie immediately pinched her nose. “How can you live in a ce like this, Sean?”

    A young girl was sitting in awn chair in the garden, dressed in her pajamas as her eyes were fixed on

    When she saw the gate open, she leaped up and eximed in delight, “Sean! You’re home!”

    “Much better.” The girl lifted her head and suddenly caught sight of the bruises on his face.” What

    When he saw the worried look on her face, Sean smiled and told her the lie he and Bonnie hade up

    Bonnie immediately yed along and thanked Sean as she handed the money to Nikki. “This is the


    reward for your brother for saving me.


    “I didn’t want you to be worried when you saw him like this, so I came with him to apologize


    to you.”
