Chapter 1289
Atticus, the apple of Thssa’s eye, was now in cahoots with Lysander.
"What''s got you so jumpy and giggly, Thssa?" Evelyn sidled up, craning her neck to peek at
Thssa''s phone with curiosity.
"Messages from Atticus," Thssa said, handing over her phone without a fuss.
Evelyn couldn''t help but chuckle at the message. "Look at it. That little boy has already turned his back
on us."
Before Evelyn could ponder any longer, that white Lamborghini of Lysander’s roared to life behind
them, zooming past anding to a halt with a dramatic ir.
Lysander, arm casually resting on the open window, fixed his gaze on Thssa, his tone brooking no
argument, "No one else is giving you a ride now. Still want to make it to the train station?"
He even knew she was heading to the train station!
Atticus must have been tracking her phone all the time. What a little rascal. She''d have to give him a
piece of her mindter.
With Lysander around, no one else would dare offer Thssa a lift.
Thssa nced at Evelyn with worry, "Mom..."

"Ah, you just go first. I can leave tomorrow, or hitch a ride with Mr. Gordonter," Evelyn sighed,
knowing full well that Lysander wouldn''t extend his offer to her.
"I meant both of you!" Lysander''s voice cut through the air.
At his words, Thssa spun around, her eyes wide with disbelief and surprise.
Evelyn was equally taken aback and wondering if she had misheard.
His presence was overwhelming, a single nce from him enough to send a shiver down Evelyn''s
spine.
"What are you waiting for?" Lysander urged.
Thssa snapped back to reality.
Lysander stepped out of the car, his towering figure imposing a silent pressure.
Thssa instinctively shuffled back, caught in his aura of authority.
He cast a deep, searching look her way, his hand reaching out.
Expecting him to grab her chin like before, Thssa closed her eyes, bracing for the inevitable.
But instead of the anticipated pain, she felt the weight of her luggage being lifted. Opening her eyes,
she saw Lysander cing their suitcase in the trunk.
The car sped towards the train station, driven by someone Thssa didn''t recognize. She and Evelyn
sat in the back while Lysander upied the passenger seat.
Soon enough, they reached the train station.
"Thanks for the ride, and you can head back now," Thssa said, taking her suitcase.
Both mother and daughter exchanged bewildered looks.
What was Lysander up to? Escorting them aboard the train?
Evelyn mused, "He''s not nning toe with us, is he?"
Thssa''s eyes widened in realization.
That must be it. With Atticus in the picture, finding out which train they were on was a cakewalk for
Lysander. Reаd at Dramanovеls
His overwhelming presence and icy aura made Thssa edge away, her breath catching.
"So scared of me?" Lysander''s piercing gazended on her, his voice a quiet rumble.
