David arrived and found Lysander sitting on the waiting bench just outside the operating room. An air of
heavy tension encircled him like a storm cloud. Beads of sweat dotted his taut forehead, and his eyes,
usually so controlled, had a reddish tinge, revealing his inner turmoil.
The operation room door was sealed shut, the red light glowing with the words "In Surgery", signaling
