Chapter 900
Just the mere thought of it made a knot form in Thssa’s stomach.
Her hand, clenched tightly around the papers, slightly lifted, her eyes meeting those of Callum. “How
did youe to possess the contract of this house?” she asked.
“Well,” Callum started, his casual demeanor slipping into something more serious. “You see, back in
the states, Leopold was not just my business partner, but also my closest friend. We founded Leossa
Tech together. The Sinir group only bought out our domestic branch, but the international

headquarters has always been managed by me.”
Leopold had left to work abroad after he and Thssa broke up, that’s when he met Callum. They hit it
off instantly, and together they established Leossa Tech.
Over the past five years, Callum had be Leopold’s best friend. He shared everything with Callum,
nothing was left unsaid. Leopold’s ultimate love was Thssa, and everything he did was to win her
back, to provide her with a secure future. Unbeknownst to him, Thssa had given birth to four
children with Leopold’s rival, Lysander.
Upon hearing about Callum’s rtionship with Leopold, Thssa’s heart clenched. Although Callum
hadn’t yet revealed the details about the house contract, it was enough to confirm her worst
suspicions.
Thssa’s breath trembled, a pang of pain in her heart.
Callum continued, “Leopold knew you were selling the vi, and he knew you were trying to liquidate it
to repay Lysander. So, he asked me to step in. The money was transferred into your ount, but the
ownership of the house was never transferred.”
That meant the vi was still legally Thssa’s.
“But… I went through the process of transferring the title…” Thssa stuttered, her mind racing.
She couldn’t believe that the vi was still in her name.
“The real estate agent went through the motions with you, but your forms and documents were never
submitted,” Callum exined.
In other words, the transfer of ownership had never actually happened.
The money was given to Thssa, but the vi remained hers.
As Thssa grasped the situation more fully, the pain in her heart deepened, and her grip on the
papers in her hand tightened even further.
“Why? Why would he do something like this?” Thssa asked, her voice barely above a whisper, pain
evident in her eyes.
“He wanted to leave you a ce to live; he didn’t want to see you homeless.” Callum replied.
Thssa’s heart pounded in her chest, “He wanted to leave me a ce to live? What does that
mean?”
“It seems you still don’t understand just how much he loved you,” Callum’s tone turned solemn.
His hand gripped the cup, but he didn’t take another sip.
“One could say he would do anything that benefited you, even if it cost him his life,” Callum’s face
remained calm, but the veins on his hand were popping.
It was not until he spotted Thssa at a party that he realized who Thssa was. Even then, he wasn’t
sure until he saw Lysander enter with four children, rushing toward Thssa, calling her ‘Mother’.
Only then was Callum certain that she was the Thssa that Leopold always talked about- the woman
Leopold loved the most.
The tears that had been shimmering in Thssa’s eyes spilled over. Her lips trembled, her shoulders
stiff, and her chin quivered.
She bit her lower lip to prevent herself from crying.
Seeing Thssa’s tears made Callum’s heart ache even more. He still couldn’t ept the fact that
Leopold was gone..
