    Her voice was soft and muffled as she replied, “I understand.”


    Her weak voice ignited the fervor in Lysander’s blood. His throat tightened and swallowed hard. It took


    all his self-control to keep himself still. Thssa leaned against him, feeling his chest rise and fall with


    his heavy breathing.
