    Charlotte was so furious that her facial features seemed to twist in rage.

    away.


    With one burly man on either side of her in the car, escape seemed impossible.


    Thssa tried to remainposed as she narrowed her eyes at Charlotte. “Charlotte, this is


    kidnapping; it’s illegal. You could end up in jail. It’s not toote if you let me go.”


    Charlotte nced at Thssa through the rear-view mirror and huffed. “A person capable of


    threatening me hasn’t been born yet. Don’t worry, I’m not that stupid to kidnap you.”


    “What are you up to?”


    Charlotte didn’t answer.


    Thssa was taken to a motel and roughly pushed into a room. She nearly stumbled but managed to


    steady herself.


    However, the two burly men who had grabbed her earlier were now advancing towards her, with


    Charlotte trailing behind them.


    Feeling threatened, Thssa backed away. Her eyes darted past the burly men to re at Charlotte.


    “Charlotte, tell them to leave, or you’ll regret it!”


    “The only thing I regret is letting you get to Lysander before me five years ago. You’re so good at


    having quadruplets, right? Then do it again!” With that, Charlotte gave the men a nod and hurriedly


    exited the room.


    Seeing her opportunity, Thssa lunged forward, hoping to dash out of the room before they could


    react.


    But she was intercepted by one of the burly men and flung onto the bed.


    Thssa’s head spun from the impact, and her vision blurred. As she tried to sit up, the man who had


    thrown her strode towards her, grabbing her by the cor of her shirt.


    “No!” Thssa clung to her clothing. She was holding on for dear life.

    Just when her clothing seemed about to tear, Thssa felt a wave of helplessness wash over her.


    “Stop! Let her go!” A young man burst into the open doorway of the room.


    He rushed forward, punching the man who was tearing at Thssa’s clothes and shielding her with his


    body.


    In her panic, Thssa recognized the man as Leopold. Her grip on her shirt tightened, her hands


    began trembling, and her eyes welled up with tears.


    The burly man, who had been punched, turned his face while cradling his jaw. He red at Leopold


    with a menacing look and raised his fist to strike back.

    “All of you, get out!” She ordered.


    The burly men nced at Charlotte. They were clearly unwilling toply and were confused by her


    Charlotte, seeing their hesitation, barked. “Didn’t you hear me? Do you not want your money


    anymore?”


    Hearing that, the burly men grudgingly exited the room.


    After seeing the danger recede, Leopold turned his worried gaze towards Thssa. “Thssa, are you
