    Skr nced at the roadside. “On Bard Lane. What’s up?”


    “It’s important! Are you heading back to Gxy Vi? Call me once you get there safely,” Caleb


    insisted.

    arrive.


    After bringing the suitcase into the vi, she called Caleb back. “What’s going on?”


    “First, promise me you’ll keep a level head. Don’t let what’s about to happen upset you.” Caleb’s


    concern was evident.


    Skr reassured him and said, “I promise. What’s going on?”


    “I’m sending you a video.”


    After hanging up, Caleb quickly sent her the video. On the screen; a graceful woman in a white


    gown linked arm–in–arm with Joe. Both of them radiated happiness as they announced their

    Joe had clearly put a lot of effort into this proposal. The event was crowded with reporters, and the

    Caleb was furious. He couldn’t believe how casually Joe would treat the woman he admired this

    After hanging up, she set her phone down and pushed her suitcase to the side.
