    Today, Alexander had told her that after thinking it over, he believed she was right.

    After Gloria hung up the phone, she couldn’t help but feel worried.


    “Skye suddenly quits her job, and Joe is off on a business trip. Something must be going on with


    those two. Just a couple of days ago, when Skr hadn’t quit didn’t they say they weren’t going


    back to the Gxy Vi? That rascal, he wouldn’t really be thinking about Vera, would he?”


    Edgar looked at Gloria with a hint of helplessness. “Mrs. Martin Senior, there’s no need to worry


    about them. It’s normal for young people to have their little disputes. They might argue now, but


    they’ll be fine in a couple of days. They’ll be back to being all lovey–dovey.


    “They’ve even taken their wedding photos together, so what could really be wrong? My son and


    daughter- inw argue almost daily, and it hasn’t stopped them from having children.”


    “You make a point. Let them sort out their own issues. I just feel bad for Skr. Joe really doesn’t


    know how to cherish her,” Gloria expressed her dissatisfaction with Joe.


    Edgar chuckled softly as he listened. “Mr. Martin may not be good with sweet swords, but he treats


    Mrs. Martin very well. As for the rumors about him being involved with Ms. Ruell, those are likely


    just tabloid nonsense from the reporter.”
